I liked last week's ep better.
Dang, I forgot the names of that alien insect species. Curse you Rick and Morty for having continuity!
finally managed to watch this.
Ladies and Gentlemen. Do not !@#$% with Bird Daughter.
I am honestly not happy that they offscreened Birdperson rescuing his daughter and pretty much yadda yadda'd him being friends with Rick again. I was so happy Birdperson got to bear the brunt of Rick's assholery and the way show cleverly showed how much of an hypocrite Birdperson is, he left at the first time Rick wasnt a good friend to him when he lectured Morty to be loyal to him. All this drama and character development was noped out out of the show almost entirely.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end. This episode got me in just on there being enough funny dialogue for me. That appears to be the goal of this season so far lol
https://linktr.ee/MalcmanIsHereInteresting confirmation that not only were most of the Morty's on the Citadel clones, but so were most of the Rick's. Meaning Rick's really did clone themselves to handle menial positions, and engaged in ridiculous shit like creating a Colonel Sander's Rick just to market some fast food.
That is depraved.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Huh, so that's what happens when portal fluid gets on someone...
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonGiven this show's nature and what happened this episode, I'm surprised they decided on modesty with Beth's clothes remaining mostly intact whereas Rick, Morty, and Jerry ended up butt naked.
This episode is the first to really make me feel like the show is Reference Overdosed. I was confused by
- every Easter line here
- HR Geiger meets Coachella
- what on earth the joke was with Summer going on infinite spring break
- Andromeda
- The Prometheus joke with the Butt Guys was fine, but what was up with the Christian stormtroopers
Least horny episode of Rick and Morty by far.

The ending got a real laugh out of me.
Considering the only thing Summer ever seems interested in is partying and doing drugs across the entire series, its fitting that she gets exactly what she wanted. A drug-fueled party that goes on forever and is promptly miserable because getting high and drunk all the time forever is no way to live.
I still remember when she broke Jerry's spirit during the camping episode because she'd rather get high than do a simple family vacation excursion. So this is pretty deserving considering what a gigantic dick she can be.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So episodes 2 and 3 were very very violent, like just extended actions scenes. Of the 2, I think I prefer 3 since with the citadel lot you genuinely don't know what's coming.
Also the final bit really emphasises while they're nicer to each other, main Ricky and Morty are still assholes to everyone else.

the whole trope of narrating the plan as we watch it unfold except the plan quickly derails so the conversation and the action on-screen quickly go in different directions was absolutely hilarious to me.
