...Jones?
While on one hand, the tank Cecil fired 3 lightning bolts at are not normal cars, here's a page
describing the effects of lightning on cars.
Anyone think Rake's going too hard on the two? Don't want to make him seem to much like a Jerkass even though he kinda is, being an ammoral demon who's quite firmly a Type 1 Chaotic Neutral at best and a Type 1 Neutral Evil who just so happens to be aligned with a Lawful Good organization because It Amused Me at worst

/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?@Gladonost: Sorry if I missed something, or forgot to clarify earlier, but your character can't really be a former partial owner of Devil's Corner. If you want your character to, say, be an investor, or a small provider, fine, but I've got a history for the place in mind, which includes a certain NPC as the main owner of the place for as long as it's been around. Of course, if you really think that this should be otherwise, I'm willing to think about reconsidering.
Yeah; sorry to say, but Devil's Corner is not that far back. I'd say, probably only in the last few 50 years or so.
Also, @Theo; Sorry about the recent fact about the Surgeon, but it's true that I never actually had him go into the tank. When he had his hand on the door, the real bomb squad started coming up, and this caused the tank to try and take off. The Surgeon never had a chance to get in. So, yeah; sorry about that.

I know.
I mean, I could do a Retcon, but I don't want to go editing past events just because we can't do this one thing later, that wasn't even planned when the original event was first done. As much as I love Comicbooks, I don't want to be pulling that kind of stuff here.
Technically, the plan can still work. Mason proposed a trade only to keep the soldiers busy while Cecil prepared the mace. The only difference is that now we'll need to have Jones or somebody tear open the tank latch, instead of the soldiers opening it up themselves.
The surgeon's a frail old man, so keeping him out of the gas bomb is actually a kindness.
