Well, if we did it that way, some conversations might get kind of slow. What if two people are having a conversation, and they just want to finish and get it done in, say, 10 minutes, but they can't, because they would have to wait for everyone else to make a post after theirs, even if those posts aren't related to their own?
I actually proposed doing something similar to what you suggested in my last RP, but the majority was opposed to the idea, and so I just kept on doing things as I had been doing them. But keep in mind that the general post rate of today might not be the same as it'll usually be. I had the day off today, and not much to really do; that's why I was able to post nearly lickety-split, and keep things moving. But take tomorrow, for example; I'm going to be gone much of the day, so there shouldn't be as many posts then as today. And I have a new class, which will probably involve doing a lot of things outside of class; bottomline, the RP's probably not going to be so busy, so often, if that bothers you.
Sir, you're a member of the force. Sorry to say, your character doesn't get decide when he does or doesn't go into active duty. If he's called into action by a commanding officer, then there's really nothing he can do about it, even if he's not the best one suited for the task at hand.
...That said, when your character comes into play will still depend on you. Would you like me to have Valerie call your character into action, maybe help with the archive investigation? Because I can do that.
@Big Bean: Just an FYI; her name's Valerie, not Violet. Mind you, I can perfectly understand why you thought her name was Violet, but, sorry to say, it's not.

@Sanojutsu: You know what? Just keep on going. I'll just have the dude show up at the Archives later.

Taco...you might want to read my posts more carefully. Mason's a shapeshifter; he isn't a cat anymore, he's a full grown man.
Also, keep in mind that I've slightly edited post 100; Mason's now only been watching the house for the past few hours. I realized watching an empty house without doing anything was a bit absurd, so I made it a tad more believable. Still, I think Jones' suspicion remains appropriate; Sewell's been watching this place for a while now, but hasn't sent a word to HQ. Not a very useful servalence...

Just an FYI: Theo's asked me to help get his character out of the current tight spot he's in. If I didn't help, he might have tried to get out of it on his own, and thus potentially change the plot in a noticeable enough way. I decided that the RP was too early on for that, but I also wanted to help Theo out of the jam he was in, so, that's why some of your cellphones are ringing. You might want to answer them...

Is it okay that I sorta wormed my way in there or would you rather Cash stick around the Department? Sorry if I've already screwed up something!
I'm a ghost, you didn't see me.
