So what were some of the ideas we were certain we would include?
So far the only things I can remember off the top of my head is that
- Captain America is the biological father of Diana
- Superman was inspired by Captain America
What else were we good with?
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.
*Mutants are divided into two groups — the mostly normal ones, and the inhuman-looking Morlocks — and the X-Men actually go to Mutant-Rights rallies on a regular basis, as opposed to staying in hiding the whole time.
- The Avengers and the Justice League are connected, though we didn't agree on just how that is. Personally, I'd just say they're one big team. Same would go for the JSA and the Invaders, here called the Invaders for Justice. (Who I still want to write for.)
I'm not sure if we actually universally agree on much else; mostly, we were just throwing ideas around...

just out of curiosity, what would SHIELD's relationship be with Project: Cadmus?
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Perhaps its a secret project that only the World Security Council is in on? Fury, Hill and Faraday wouldn't even be in on it. Also, if we are going to be including Coulson in the combined universe I have an idea; what if Clark Kent and Phil Coulson are cousins? They both looked up to Captain America growing up, Clark first showed off his powers to Phil (explaining how he's able to take superheroes in his stride, he played tag with one!)

Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.Well the way I saw it working was we don't even mention it. We have them interact in other stories and such, but always on official business and stuff, out of respect for the others line of work and their wish for anonymity. Then come a big crossover where Phil is escorting Clark through the Triskellion or Helicarrier they can have private exchanges like "So hows Aunt Martha?", "She's good! Pa is still having trouble with the tractor. Hows that cellist you were seeing?", "Its complicated."
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.Heres an idea
The original super soldier serum was created by the SSR. The SSR is then absorbed by Checkmate and is rechristened Cadmus. Cadmus is then given the job of recreating the super soldier serum which is retroactively called Weapon I. Attempts to create super soldiers are thus named Weapons II to X, all while Checkmate is repurposed into S.H.I.E.L.D.
Weapon X is unique among the Weapon Plus program since it used and modified mutants; the most well known subject of course being Wolverine, but other test subjects include the likes of Sabretooth and Killer Croc.

Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere. We could have Cadmus operate as a thinktank then? One where the likes of Reed Richards or Mr Terrific or Doc Magnus could meet and discuss potential of current crises? Cadmus could still operate under S.H.I.E.L.D but it would be left in the open; everyone would know about it.

{Reed Richards arrives for his first meeting at the CADMUS Think Tank...}
Richards: Doctor Doom?! What are you doing he—
Doom: Diplomatic immunity.
Richards: ...Come again?
Doom: DIP. LO. MAT. IC—
Richards: But... you're a supervill—
Doom: Here, I am referred to as a 'Diplomatic Scientific Advisor.' ...Infidel.
Richards: ...Right. Never coming here again...

Reed: But he's the one who puts the world in danger half the time!
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Well, Weapon X was the creation of Department H, Canada's answer to CIA's Black Operations. The program was spearheaded by a man named Dr Cornelius. It wasn't till later that Marvel retroactively turned Eskine's Super Soldier Serum into Weapon 0.

Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.Mhm. Scary, no? You think that's bad, Weapon X got even worse. Hell for a period in time Department H was churning out agents with Wolverine level healing specifically to bring down the Hulk.

In that case, either postpone the crossover, or have the crossover numbered after the conclusion of the Iron Man flashback. Or just, you know, have writers talk to each other and arrange in advance to have their stories sync up. like Valiant did.
