Not just restricted to this person—it seems to be a Chrome thing.
Windows 8.1, Chrome version 31.Something, here.
I had this happen once, but that's it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Also having this problem, using Windows XP and Firefox 26. Seems like something is being inverted, the profile option always seems to be set to "closed" no matter what I do, while the article folders themselves seem to revert to being open when navigating around.
Navigating to profile shows "folder view default" as "closed". Changing to "open" and clicking save causes an article's folders to be closed, this can change back to open when going to a different article.
Changing them from "open" then to "closed" and clicking save and going to an article causes the folders to appear open.
Adding my two cents here on this one. Starting having this problem about a week or two ago. Tried clearing all history on Firefox 26 as well as disabling Ad Block, and Right To Click. Nada. My profile settings have never been touched, but the folders have always been closed before. Checking the settings shows that they are, indeed set to be closed by default. No es bueno.
If you are experiencing this, please look at the source of the page and search for "Set All Folders(". if it doesn't look like "Set All Folders('closed')", copy it and post it here.
Oh, and try clearing your cache to see if it clears up. http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache

Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty

Every time I try to save my profile and have the folders closed by default, they're still open when I go back, and the folderpref cookie gets the value "open" even if you tick closed and hit save.
