New Carbot short. Featuring Orphea and a special guest:
That was very wholesome up until it was realized Cloaken was slowly bodyslamming the world

So I think this last patch broke Quick Match.... 720 seconds in queue and counting.
The new Stiches rework sounds horrifying, slows that trigger bigger slows and talents that cause slows to slow while slowing you slowly into oblivion while Stiches itself becomes completely unslowable at level 20.
Also hooks that trigger flat%-heal, more gradual % heal, %dmg and more hooks.
This rework stinks!, but that's the way I like it.

We're getting a new event for Christmas, and I love it.
When Illidan didn't take Sixth Sense
Blizzard just announced the end of Heroes of the Storm E-sports and moving of devs from HOTS to other projects.
That's it, out of the blue they announced the game is dead.
Wow. Blizzard is on a roll with messing up.
First Diablo Inmortal then the whole mess that is Beta for Azeroth to basically killing HOTS out of nowhere.
I fear for Overwatch.
I don't really see how this is "messing up". If it was consistently underperforming, it makes sense not to sink money into it.
Meh, I seriously doubt moving the e-sports will kill the game. I have seen many games that never had a big e-sports scene maintain a good community.
Now I do agree that Blizzard has been making dumb mistakes though.
They are moving the devs from HOTS to other projects, that means 'maintenance mode' ala Diablo 3. No new updates nor anything else.
There is the vague promise of new heroes.
So probably 4-5 heroes a year. Orphea feels like a badly timed release in hindsight
Hello darkness my old friend...
Yeah, what's up man? Demon Hunter was asking about you.
No, I don't have his number...
Ahhh, nevermind. Thats dumb as fuck then.
I thought it meant that they were just deciding to get rids of the e-sports scene. Not cutting off updates entirely.
So yeah I agree that this is incredibly stupid of them if its the case.

Except they explicitly say that they will still release new heroes.

On that note, here's one of the game designer's assurance that HotS isn't a skeleton crew on maintenance duty. And HotS' Production Director.

Heroes was always pretty much a niche game. It got introduced rather late to the picture, and never really got as much popularity as other MOB As. I was actually surprised that it managed to hold a somewhat successful e-sports tournament in HGC for so long. But yeah, I feel that at this point it was just not worth the cost, which is why it wouldn't come back in 2019. And since it's a "dead" game, why not move the devs where they can be more useful?
Because they haven't given us Tirion Fordring yet.
His reveal had like no buildup and no fanfare. Fitting, because he is actually an overrated character
Hey it's not people's fault if they happen to like Worf, but blinged-out.
Considering people used the 'dead game' thing as an excuse to jump ship, it's understandable that there is no fanfare.
Giving it Fanfare would have been the best way to show 'we are not dead' instead of badly written press releases claiming to state that without any proof to back that up.
No fanfare gives the exact opposite impression, like this hero is basically being rushed out as the game is being put into D3 style maintenance mode.
I doubt that an entire Hero can be "rushed out". If anything this is what has been in the pipe anyway and we will have to wait and see what the interval of future updates will be.
