...?
why would SCP sue?
I suppose that the thought was that this looks very like an SCP entry; however — noting that I'm not a lawyer — I don't see anything specific to SCP in the video, and unless the elements here are very close indeed to an actual, specific SCP entry then I sincerely doubt that there's any copyright violation.
As to the video itself, that was surprisingly fascinating; at the least I'm very interested in discovering more about whatever this represents.
My Games & WritingThe SCP Foundation owns no copywrites anyway.
(V)(;,,;)(V)Interesting.
thechineseroom has nothing to with this right?
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984That monitor used to be owned by HR Giger.
That's very likely incorrect. Copyright does not need to be registered, it vests automatically with the creation of a work. Unless you specifically wave copyright, your work is copyrighted.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comThat may be true, but the site does not own the "Agency collects items anomalous shit" idea.
(V)(;,,;)(V)Oh. This looks lovely. Absolutely. Lovely.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThey have an actual website. Looks like they need editors.
(V)(;,,;)(V)I don't entirely mind the premise being a blatant steal of the SCP Foundation, but I wish it was done better. The entry is terribly written, and the video's twist is a total cliche
At least the visuals are good
It looks more like just another Artifact Collection Agency
(V)(;,,;)(V)The reason the SCP text works is that most of the time, it omits just enough text. I can't even tell what's going on here, and the entry tells less than the story.
So... she appeared on screen, big surprise. She... Died? Onscreen? Then got up? Zombie? What?
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenAnd there's this thing:
Oooooh, so full of pathos that thing is.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. But what's to indicate that it's a game? Looks more like a version of the SCP site that uses video clips (and very well-made ones at that) instead of the typical reports full of [[REDACTED]] lines and such.
i got really tired of [redacted] after a while.
eventually it basically came across as a lazy way to be scary; tell the audience to do it for you.
some use it effectively, the others overuse it to the point i have no idea whats even going on. and that...scary?
no. no its not. just very, very tedious.
anyway yeah, im liking these videos. surprisingly well made, well acted. kudos to the makers.

This one was much better. You can actually get what is unusual, but it still keeps things a mystery.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenTrue, some of the SCP entries were a bit too vague, and if you didn't already have a good "reading" imagination then you'd be stuck trying figure out what the heck is going on. The better written ones were the type that made it somewhat clear the SCP in question was a dangerous thing, yet required you to read between the lines of just what it's powers resemble and how horrifying it would be if it existed in real life. There's a reason why some of the SC Ps, such as 087 and SCP 106 have some basic fan-made games based off of them.
My personal favorite was this one, SCP-093. But enough off-topic talk, back to the original subject!
If the pattern of the anomalous objects in question continue to be related to electronics, then this game may possibly revolve around some sort of "Man in the Machine" type plot, except with a horror angle. Then again, nothing truly freaky or dangerous was shown, so that might not even be the case. Basically, we've gotta see more before we can judge what it is exactly.

Hmm... A Haunted Technology plot might well be what will be shown; aside from your point, I note that the word "soma" refers to the body (as distinct either from the mind or from the body's germ cells), I believe.
(Edited to insert the correct trope; I had it as "Ghost in the Machine", which turned out to refer to something else.)

My Games & WritingPlus, this one is not really 'dangerous', just really weird and sorta philosophical.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenSOMA has been officially unveiled, complete with a gameplay trailer. The gameplay isn't from an actual level, but it's meant to convey the kind of stuff that'll be in the final game.
Also, in the same blog post, they admitted that, yes, they're partly inspired by the SCP Foundation.
They should have just made that Amnesia 2.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. So the playable character's a dude. Weird. They had a lady in all the promotional videos.
....2015? Aww, man.
Please be a lady? Pretty please? We don't have that many of those.
So this showed up on Frictional Games YouTube channel today:
What could it mean? And can the SCP Foundation sue?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.
