As for Tower of God it self, I can't say anything because I'm waiting for the anime to end to watch it all, but between it and the Tezuka Manga Awards
allowing foreign participants, this decade is certainly shaping up to bring massive changes to the status quo of the industry.
Fingers crossed that it is positive changes.
Some webtoons do have physical publications, like ReLIFE (though that one's Japanese). And they usually suck because they just recut and rearrange the panels, which completely messes up the pacing.
…Speaking of which, Ultramarine Magmell, which got an anime last year, was originally a Chinese webtoon, so that might be the real starting point.
Also, Gigguk apparently can't pronounce "Noblesse".

The Author is a woman who was harrassed with death threats on twitter. Primarily from overseas fans.
Watch SymphogearThat kinda reminds something similar that happened to the author of Tokyo Ghoul where overseas fans accused the author of being a homophobe.
The reason? Because the main character makes love with his female love interest. Many of these "fans" where angry that the mc didn't hooked up with another male character that yaoi fans love to pair with and accused the author of being a homophobe. Except many longtime readers of the manga pointed out the main character has never shown any romantic interest with that character and has always shown interested with his female love for sometime.

Heh. The first Gigguk video since I got into Honkai Impact 3rd (thanks PC client) has an ad for Honkai Impact 3rd, what are the odds.
Anyway, there are quite a few… visually interesting shows this season. Sing Yesterday and that Radio Host show particularly. That integration of Rap God was impeccable, I must say.
