Basically that is the idea. @Morning Star 1337.
@Grounder - I didn't mean companies with only 'one Vocaloid' having their own page, I am looking at the larger ones or at least the ones that have 'more than two' Vocaloids. Voctro came as a surprise by having two females in development, which puts them on level with Power FX. And also Zero-G has been quoted as to having another male Vocaloid which may be partnered with Avanna, so that puts them at eight total in Vocaloid releases.
Since Bplats is YAMAHA's official developer they work with smaller companies [in collaboration] to produce voice banks, but I think i-Style and Shanghai He Nian can make due on their own. With i-Style being on 'Other studios' and Shanghai having their own page depending on how well the individual characters can be separated by trope, despite not having voice banks they are still apart of the franchise.
So far I see only SeeU either merging with 'Other studios', unless SBS or another company will be releasing a Vocaloid, SeeU is kind of on her own and the only Korean Vocaloid to exist. The only thing that would be removed is 'Other Japanese studios'. And then there are the Fanloids, which both ascended and popular types can go onto one page. However, remove the title "Fanloid" and simply state 'Related, Similar, Influenced, or Derived' to include mascots such as Iku, FL-chan, Meaw, Dong Fang Zhi Zi etc.
Proposal 1.
- Solo pages for... AH-Software, Bplats, Crypton Future Media, Internet Co, Power FX, Shanghai He Nian, Voctro Labs, and Zero-G.
- Merged (by one Vocaloid)... 1st Place, Dear Stage (Moe Japan), Exit Tunes, Ki/oon Records, Lawson, MI7, Music Airport, and SBS Artech.
- Merged by (by two Vocaloid)... I-style Project, SEGA, and Vocaloid Next.
That would be
- A total of 8 solo pages; each having 4 to 6 Vocaloids.
- A total of 1 merge page with 8 single Vocaloids.
- And another 1 merge page with 6 partnered Vocaloids.
Additional idea. Though Not preferred.
- Merged page by English Vocaloids... Power FX and Zero-G.
- Merged page for Bplats containing folders for i-Style and Shanghai He Nian.
The point is to try and make it as minimal/organized as possible and easier to edit. So the idea of merging Crypton with AH-Soft is ridiculous to me, both combined are already long enough as is. And plus AH-Soft has their Voiceroid series which can be included on the page- giving them more voice banks than Crypton regardless of those banks not being designed for singing.
This will also give partnered Vocaloids their own space for tropes. Vocaloid China is the base and now we have ZOLA PROJECT which is three males. Each having their own popularity status with the fandom.

Well I was going based off the "Popularity/Mainstream" thing with the First two pages (Though AH-Soft might be stretching it). But I think that 10 pages total would be overkill. Granted they would be easier to edit, but there doesn't seem to be enought tropes to justify them yet.
Also I still think the MLP character pages was an extreme example for comparison.
Another suguesstion would be some work pages for other producers. The only ones with a page are cosMo, mothy, Supercell (technically a circle but sill) and DECO*27. And I'm sure a bunch of other producers used Vocaloids to tell stories and play with tropes.

It's Crypton and Internet Co that are popular/mainstream. With AH-Soft it is primarily Iroha and a bit of miki that are popular.
MLP was a quick example, as in character pages that are split. I could have grabbed any other series but MLP was the first that came to mind when it comes to a lot of characters that need space.
I never messed with producer trope pages, but on the subject it seems that a series and circle pages would cover this best, especially with Mothy.
To continue.
If ten is excessive then the additional proposal will probably cover it with some adjustments.
Proposal 2.
- Solo pages for... AH-Software, Crypton Future Media, Internet Co.
- Solo with merge for... Bplats, I-style Project, Shanghai He Nian.
- Solo with merge for... Power FX, Zero-G, and Voctro Labs.
- Merged (by one Vocaloid)... 1st Place, Dear Stage (Moe Japan), Exit Tunes, Fuji TV, Ki/oon Records, Lawson, MI7, Music Airport, and SBS Artech... (includes two Vocaloids) SEGA, and Vocaloid Next.
That would be
- A total of 3 solo pages; each having 4 to 6 Vocaloids.
- A total of 3 solo merge pages:
- [bplats (6), istyle (2), shanghai (6)] with 14 Vocaloids.
- [pfx (4) zrg (7), vtro (4)] with 15 Vocaloids.
- for the rest by including SEGA and Voca Next with 13 Vocaloids. Note that Tone Rion is a tough call because her voice bank status, though she did spring from Dear Stage mascot-wise.
Extra would be
- Similar/Derivative mascots. However, Crypton related derivatives could go on their page, thus clearing up the section and even possible elimination of that section if it doesn't expand beyond the mentioned two. Or they can just be left there as is and the index placed at the top.

I don't think we can make a crowner for this thread for some reason. But maybe I can ask a mod to attach one.
Bear in mind that the cronwers seem to be consensus thingies.
Okay, I asked the mods to hook a crowner to this thread. I included both your proposals and my proposal in the crowner.

The Chew Toy of Gaming
Uh, what about the notable fanloids? Would they just get lumped in with Crypton, seeing as most of them are based off of Cryptonloids?
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.I've read the thread, but not voted because I haven't a clue about what the arguments for each option entails in practice.
Check out my fanfiction!
Crown Description:
Okay the Vocaloid Character Sheet needs to be split. Here are the options:

With the VOCALOID3 era going strong there are more voice bank announcements or related mascots mentions every few months. The single page is getting lengthy and tedious to edit.
I was thinking that branching the pages by companies who have more than two VOCALOIDs released. But more thought on how to handle companies that have one or how many are under each language.
