\*she drops her weapon and lifts her good arm to remove the scythe embedded in her wing, then takes flight once more, shooting blue fireballs at Fate from afar*
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apart
FM holds two open palms out towards bEa, whilst the Hydra opens it's mouth as well. "Charge 80%, Artillery Salvo." He then fires out two vacuum forces, followed by a beam from the Hydra. All directed bEa's way, and all aiming for her already damaged limbs.

Fate takes flight again, weaving between the fireballs and slashing a couple aside with her scythe.
Shooting Mode! The scythe fades out, and Bardiche subtly reconfigures itself.
"Bardiche, Cartridge Load!"
Yes, sir. Bardiche ejects something that looks like a spent shell casing, and a surge of golden power forms a Battle Aura around Fate.
Plasma Lancer!
Several golden arrowheads, a more powerful version of the thunder orbs, form in the air around Fate, and she sweeps her arm:
"Fire!"
They're not homing, but damn they fly fast...
Hey FM, just curious, what are the "Charge XX%" things on FM's spells?

Well, FM's gateseal gives FM a supposed unlimited mana supply. Problem is, if he doesn't use the right amount of mana for a spell, it leaks out as raw mana and causes all sorts of nasty. He uses too much for a spell, and the mana infects his body. 100% is basically the strongest he can do without poisoning the air or himself.

FM, his defensive runes not even being used once in the fight, is standing unharmed by the blast. "Well, not the first person I've seen explode. You're pretty skilled with that weapon of yours. Almost like you're trained with it or somethin-" FM then realizes that chick took his scythe with her. "DAUGHTER OF A GUN!"

She dispels her Barrier Jacket, going back to looking like an ordinary little girl, the Bardiche turning itself back into a golden jewel which falls to rest on the back of her hand.

Self-destruction requires death. When an avatar dies in the Arena, anything and everything they acquired in the Arena is dropped where they died, regardless of whether or not they respawn.
Been this way since v3. Just haven't had to enforce it much.
If the scythe wasn't hers, it's still on the map (possibly embedded in a wall or something, seeing as she exploded). If it was destroyed, well... :/ Next time FM leaves and comes back, he can come back with the scythe repaired, even if he wouldn't really be able to fix it in canon, continuity be damned.

-Somewhere, FM's scythe is embedded into the wall. Due to it being part of the building now, FM would be fired if he took it out. That or sued for property damage. Sucks for him!-

"Oh, you mean that stuff you and the bot talked about? Meh, I already have a hostile energy source." FM raises his right hand and taps the Gateseal. "This bugger connects me to the mana that keeps my magical side alive. Unfortunately, it gets real nasty if I use too much or too little at once."
Then FM's attention is directed towards Naoto. "Oh right, the way out is behind the snack machines. The evil ones. That steal your quarters as offering for their cybernetic overlords!" If it isn't obvious, FM has a dozen screws loose.
-Naoto bows and takes her leave-

Fate ducks under the swing, her Barrier Jacket protecting her from the wash of flames, and swings her own scythe at bEa's legs.
Since Mid-Childan magic generally Could Have Been Messy, the scythe form might or might not actually deal physical wounds, but seeing as it's lightning magic, it would probably be a shock to the system.
