The Pursuer keeps up the offense with more slashes, knowing that the red glow its foe is generating heralds a great power and thus all the more reason to keep him on the defensive.

   (in the meantime)   

   (there's this looming presence just nearby both fighters)   

   (to be precise, this guy◊)   

   (it observes both fighters with some minor interest, but otherwise does nothing else)   

The Conqueror jumps above the flurry of slashes, and attempts to grab the Pursuer's head in both hands. If this succeeds, the Conqueror will attempt to rip the Pursuer's head off.

The Pursuer suddenly moves several meters backwards, dodging the instant-kill attempt; it was as if the knight had been reeled back by an invisible winch or pulled by a ridiculously powerful electromagnet... But when the Conquerer re-establishes eye contact with his enemy, he would notice that the knight was now floating a few feet from the ground... And gives him a slow, mocking head shake; all but telling him that it's not that easy.

   ...(the giant covered in bodies lumbers towards the two)   

   (and... through them, paying them absolutely no attention. Who knows what kind of stray attack will hit it? Its stare seems focused more on a vaguely made grave of some sort)

The Conqueror gives a small little smile, almost as if he was pleased at finding a worthy opponent. All of a sudden, a cloud of gas rolls in, flowing around the Conqueror, and obscuring him from view.

   Animalcule   

This is a poison inducing cloud. Up to you whether or not you get poisoned.

The Pursuer drifts away from the cloud, confirming that there is something alive behind that armor since the stench of death and decay was obvious upon the Conqueror's smokescreen.

The cloud clears, revealing that the Conqueror is no longer there. He is, in fact, on a nearby roof, and attempts to get the drop on the Pursuer.

It's actually a golem of sorts. ^_^; The stench would be correct however, seeing as, well, it's covered in corpses.

   (the poisonous gas doesn't seem to trouble it too much apart from giving a small wave with its hand)   

   (once by the grave kneels down and begins digging)   

The Pursuer looks around, the design of it's helmet impeding it's peripheral vision... Giving the Conqueror greater chances for success.

The Conqueror attempts to land on the Pursuer and bring him down to the ground.

The Pursuer is too heavy and whatever foul sorcery it uses to defy gravity far too strong for it to be brought down on the ground, so with a baleful, metallic roar; the Knight rockets several meters into the air before dropping to the ground like a stone, intent on crushing its foe in between the dirt and its armor.

Assuming Conqueror attempted to body-press or wrestle him to the ground

The Conqueror is crushed. However, he isn't dead yet. He gets up, and the air around him seems to glow.

   Photonic Field   

   ...(the giant glances at where the fighting is taking place, having finished digging and applying the found corpse to its back)   

   (that's definitely interest in its eyes)   

The Pursuer floats several meters into the air and performs its own super move in response, summoning forth a dark fog from within itself and willing the fog to form into a quartet of dark orbs; which then sends scream towards the Conqueror when the Pursuer pointed its sword at him.

The orbs hit the Conqueror... and bounce right off. However, before he can react, the Valeria heart reappears in his hand, and he vanishes.

Sorry, gotta go.

   ...(lets out a low murmur as it hunches a little at the sight of body's disappearance)   

The Pursuer heads back towards the crashed spaceship, content on perching there to keep watch for prey.

   (goes over to examine what's left of The Conqueror)   

   (or rather, what's not left of him) ...(lets out a sigh as it clumsily sits down on the ground, staring blankly at the place where such a promising corpse used to be)   

Anyone here?

The underdressed pink-haired kid waves cheerfully to her.

I know, that's why I picked him, to crash any plans relying on me playing a Magical Girl :p

Hey, remember last week, i.e. sixteen pages ago, when we were talking about changing the setting? :/

Yeah, maybe I should get back on that; I remember somebody mentioned Blood Gulch, although it is pretty similar to Valhalla, which was our last setting in the previous thread. I'll get on that... tomorrow. :|
