The gust of wind doesn't connect with anything, but it manages to completely clear away the smoke, revealing... nothing! The assassin wasn't hiding in it at all...
...but he was instead approaching them from behind, using the smokescreen as a distraction.
The assassin, unflinchingly striding towards them with the same cold detachment from earlier, and is revealed to be a roughly 7 metre tall humanoid robot, clad in dark grey armour.
Without breaking stride, panels on his shoulder plating flip up, revealing two sets of small missile launchers, and he fires a single missile straight towards Simon again.

Fires a beam of pure colour at the assassin.
In loving memory of that plot arc that we spent nearly a year on. Now our sun may never set.Without so much as a pause, the assassin flips up his visor, revealing an uncannily human-like face, badly scarred over his left (green) eye.
He replies to Simon, with a deep, faintly accented voice:
As you wish, if it will remove your filthy presence from this world.
His right hand transforms into a menacing metal hook, and his left extends into a large chain-sword.
He casually shifts to the left, dodging the beam easily, and continues advancing on the pair.
pffft hahahahahahahahahhhaahhahaha noLockdown blocks the slashes with his arms, but not without taking slight damage to his arms, and jumps the beam.
He retaliates by extending his face-sniper, missile launchers, and replacing his hook with a gun, and lets off sniper round after sniper round, missile after missile, and blast after blast at the two.
pffft hahahahahahahahahhhaahhahaha noUpon seeing his hook hit nothing and his target having abruptly disappeared, Lockdown is... quite annoyed, to say the least.
After brooding over his loss for a bit, he eventually gives up, and decides to get the hell outta the desert and try again later.
He transforms into a grey Lamborghini Aventador, and drives off into the distance and disappears, completely ignoring Wilfre.
I might go as well, then. See y'all around.
pffft hahahahahahahahahhhaahhahaha noJane Doe finally climbed off of the market stall he crushed, and looked back up to the roof everyone was on before. There was nobody. Weeeeeeird.
Seeing as there were now no threats, he began wandering around the Market area for a while.
logs into dark web* "dark bad dragon show me illegal buttplugs"I'mma go with, whatever other people's avatars can see of yours. If the AI shows up now and then as a hologram, just link a picture of it when it does show up.
Who's the character? I'll search them on Google Image.

Not a lot of pictures of Loa (Loas?). Found a wiki page on 'em, but it didn't have much about how they work, physically.
Near as I can figure, the picture should be of the goo itself, it being what another character would see when looking at yours. If the Loa has a way of displaying its A.I., presumably in the form of an "avatar", just link a picture of what that looks like then.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, baby-poke-
