Because the clash was stopped, Mecha-Death is sadly not left overcommitted and vulnerable. He jumps very high to avoid any and all attacks aimed at him and begins moving through the air with such speed that he turns into a blur. He does this several times, jumping from one location to the other to confuse his opponents, until he finally settles on Sam - "warping" right above his head and trying to drop down upon him, all claws out. If Sam is caught by this attack, Mecha-Death will start ripping and tearing into his body with the scythe-limbs.
The Winter Soldier should see something stunning: the flies morph back into the mechanical being he had gone after. Somehow, this being could change his whole body into a swarm of insects.
The being peers out of the window, observing the fight. For now it looks like it has no hostile intentions.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Taking note that Zaktan could shapeshift into a swarm of insects, the Winter Soldier makes a mental note to watch out for the Piraka before striding towards Mecha-Death and firing an explosive from his rifle's grenade launcher attachment at the scythe-wielding robot.

It's Sam's attack that has the most effect, catching Mecha-Death offguard and detonating right in his face. The explosive blows a hole in the chapel's roof, through which Mecha-Death drops, thus avoiding most of the other projectiles aimed at him.
Moments later, he comes dashing out of the chapel's door like a bat out of hell, fast enough to be a blur and zigzagging erratically to avoid Lilith's shots as he closes in on her with the intention of pinning her to the ground and tearing her guts out.
Zaktan, calculating, realizes that the Winter Soldier knew he was here and might tell the others that he merely watched, which might turn into a disadvantage for later. So he decides to jump in now and tell the soldier that he was merely assessing the situation, should he question him.
Zaktan jumps onto the battlefield and begins to fire Zamor Spheres at Mecha-Death. Normally they'd be able to brainwash anyone into obeying Zaktan, but since Mecha-Death was very strong, he might be able to overcome the brainwashing effect.
Nevertheless, he should feel less tempted to attack Zaktan.
He hasn't noticed that Liklik had seen him as well, but seeing as Zaktan was fighting the same enemy as them, he should figure him to be an ally.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay. This time, Mecha-Death manages to jump into the air before the explosion occurs, only taking minor damage from it. As usual, he spins when he jumps, blocking a vast majority of the attacks aimed at him aside from a few stray knives. He retreats away slightly and starts describing circles around the group, trying to remain well-hidden in the shadows, the purple Kirin'var fog or behind buildings in order to eventually launch a sneak attack.
Zaktan, grinning and prepared to show the 'humans' that he was on their side at the moment, lights up his eyes and looks into the fog. If Mecha-Death was in his line of sight, Zaktan would begin to shoot at him again.

"So does anyone here volunteer to help me calibrate? Or do I have to choose?"
