"Well that's certainly an exciting start," Mystia says as she gazes upon the aftermath of the nuclear blast. "If this is a regular day in this Arena, I should be in for an interesting stay!"

As if to finally emphasise the MUTO's demise, the unstable ridge collapses on the massive corpse, burying the burnt cadaver under tons of rock, stone and debris. Soon, once the Arena scenery regeneration kicks in, nothing will be left to show the MUTO even existed.

(And lying in the rubble is a thoroughly-charred lizardman skeleton, its body coated in a quickly-cooling glob of molten metal. For a skeleton, though, it looks pretty damn satisfied with itself.)

I guess this was the "intended" way to do it until Isana and... Mr. Ech (forgot his real name) took it way Off the Rails.

I'm mainly gonna stick to the fighting game's usage of danmaku, not the shooter's. Definitely more. As for Fantasy Heaven, definitely not. MAAAAAYBE as a desperation move, but maybe not even then.

It is not long before Reimu arrives at Ground Zero, staring with wide eyes at the destruction.

"...Did I just miss Utsuho?" She asks no one in particular, a sweatdrop rolling down one cheek. She is surprised even further when the landscape suddenly revives itself, having to hop out of the way of a rising building.

"..." she eyes it and her surroundings warily.

Reimu would probably be able to see Kirby's lifeless body lying on the ground.

However, another Warp Star appears and lands within the facility, dropping off someone else...

"Reimu? How did you get here?" The shrine maiden hears Mystia's voice. The singer is not yet aware that's not the same Reimu as in her own universe.

Somewhere in a quiet corner, a blue spark of energy respawns, blue spirals slowly starting to trail from it and wireframes starting to crawl out of it.

   Did I really just...   

   Wow. Isaki's going to love hearing about this!   

Once fully reformed, she gathers energy, and warps out of the dimension.

As for the scenery destruction thing, the idea is that any damage is just kinda retconned out offscreen; kind of a Negative Continuity, Status Quo Is God style of thing. Not an actual, visible phenomenon. EDIT: Also, as hinted at in the OP, even though it isn't disallowed, I'm not a fan of it. :/ Complicates things.

By the way, it seems you're not overly familiar with the formatting; a visit to the Text-Formatting Rules page should sort that out. For one thing, paragraph breaks keep anything using square brackets from connecting; if you want multiple spoilered paragraphs, you have to spoiler each of them individually.

Walking into the now reformed Arena, Waddle Dee sees a familiar face.

He gasps and calls out, "Kirby!"

Quickly, he runs over, toting his spear above his head. Reaching Kirby's body, he looks at him and starts to tear up.

"Kirby..."

Kain's drop-pod slams down into the arena, with enough force to cause a small crater to form around it. Bits of earth are thrown up into the air by the impact. Then, the door of the drop-pod is smashed off and thrown high into the sky, right as Kain steps out. "Hrmph. Let's see what challenges come today."

I haven't used TV Tropes in an editing sense in awhile, so I'm kinda rusty, is all. I'll be sure to give that a quick refresher.

Reimu jerks as she hears Mystia's voice, and turns to face her.

"Mystia! What—" She begins, but stops as she takes the other girl in, her surprise with this causing her to ignore Kain's entrance. "What in the world are you wearing?"

Startled by Kain's drop pod, he scurries over to a large piece of rubble embedded into the ground from the previous battle. Then, he waits.

I can't believe it! Somebody killed him! His tone of...thought is very distraught due to having one of his friends, well, freaking dying! Unfortunately, he does not know of this place's re spawning abilities, or that Kirby's body is now gone.

"Oh! That? Just a tailored Giulietti dress. Nice and stylish, but nothing too fancy."

Just made up an upscale-sounding fancy Italian brand.

Who in the world would consider this dress, which looks like the cost of it could probably feed some countries for a few days, "nothing too fancy"?

"Figured that since I'm visiting a new place, might as well look my best. What? You don't like it?" she asks, still being slightly mistaken on the reason of Reimu's dumbfounded expression.

Reimu just looks even more baffled and confused. "What?"

She quickly shakes that off, then says, "Mystia, how did you even get all of this?!"

Slowly, Bandee peeks out from behind the rubble to check the area. However, he becomes visibly upset when Kirby's body is nowhere to be seen.

Wwhhaaaaaaaaat?!

He jumps out, rushing over to where the body was, near Kain.

"But, but he was right here!"

Then, suddenly, he stares a death-stare at Kain.

   "You..."

Kain just looks at the current 'fighters' in the arena and sighs. "...Seems all I see are children and small creatures..." Almost sounding annoyed, Kain sits down near his drop-pod and turns his visor towards Waddle Dee. "...?" Kain doesn't know what just happened to Waddle's friend.

Unexpectedly for Kain, Bandee is very ready to fight as he attempts to jab his spear at Kain.

Waddle Dee's cry grabs Reimu's attention (if only because the pitch grated on her), and with a quick "One moment" to Mystia she turns to drop to ground level and scrutinize the small creature, as well as the armored being that currently holds it's attention.

Well, looks like it's time for incident-solving, and not the beat-them-up kind, she thinks to herself. Out loud she prepares to ask, "What's the problem here?" but the words die in her throat as Waddle Dee charges Kain. "...Nevermind." she says instead. With a swing of her hand in front of her she throws two large yellow squares on a path directly in front of Waddle Dee to try and intercept his attack. As they leave her hand they grow to a decently large size, each about half her height.

Kain doesn't move as Waddle Dee's spear clangs against the surface of his forcefield. Causing blue sparks to shoot off and hit the ground, dying as quickly as they formed. "It seems this creature has some grievance with me, yet I have done nothing to actively anger it. Perhaps you may calm it down and ask it to tell us why it is so angry?"

-Determines where Kain and Waddle Dee are on the power level list-

"What? But everybody knows... oh. Oh, right," she says. "Dimensional crossroads and all that." She starts to float after Reimu, sighing as she sees Waddle Dee trying to attack a clearly more intimidating knight.

"Since you don't know me, I assume you've either gotten amnesia, or - more likely - I'm not from the same world as yours. As for your question... well, I'm a rather well-known diva in my world! That comes with some benefits."

"Rather well-known" is clearly a severe understatement. Mystia proceeds to demonstrate her words by starting to sing a soothing tune, trying to calm down Dee and possibly lull him to sleep.

Bandee is knocked back by Reimu's danmaka squares. Really ticked off at this point, he steps forwards and throws a barrage of spears at Reimu.

Reimu, not being from Mystia's Gensokyo and thus not aware that her songs have other abilities, is quick to forego answering Kain to instead thrust her gohei at Mystia's stomach to get her to stop what she thinks is an attempt to incur night-blindness.

The fact it's also a slightly instinctive reaction to whenever Mystia's sang in front of her is something Reimu idly notes in the back of her mind but dismisses.

Her focus on Mystia causes her to miss Waddle Dee's spear tosses, and one lances across a leg, cutting a gash that's quick to bleed and only just misses cutting a portion of her lower leg muscles. She pulls back from both Mystia and Waddle Dee with a screech of pain to nurse her wound.

And the song? Possible to resist it, but very hard to do so without at least losing at least some will to fight.

Reimu's unexpected attack causes Mystia's song to interrupt with a choked sound.

"What in a name was that for?! I'm trying to defuse a situation here!"
