Let's try playing as a mook squad...
In the distance, a small flight of helicopters
◊ make a heading towards the facility...
Kain's drop-pod crashes into the ground, creating a visible impact from the helicopters viewpoint. As he kicks the door to the pod off, Kain notices said copters coming in. "Hrmm, now to find out what you are." Keeping his vision steady on the copters, Kain ran mentally through the Network to determine who might possibly be on board.
Basically scanning them
Kain's scans show that the choppers are semi-autonomous drones, numbering at four; slaved to an outside source somewhere and each one carried about two human-sized machines... Very well armed machines.

Foolish donkey, you would not be able to resist me if I wished your annihilation."...Odd, why would humanoid machines be sent here?" Kain often forgets that he has quite the massive bounty on his head. To give you an idea of how much said bounty is, you could own five mansions at once with the kind of bounty on his head. FIVE MANSIONS MAN. "Perhaps I could spare some time destroying them. I could use practice destroying armor."
By the time Kain got there, there were only two commando-looking robots on the lot; who both turned to look at each other, seemingly confused by the Knight's challenge. It seems like the others beat feet... Or repositioned for an ambush... And then one of the commandos suddenly deploys an ECM smoke bomb from his shoulder, concealing them both from Kain's vision and sensors as they pull away.

Foolish donkey, you would not be able to resist me if I wished your annihilation. As Kain finds his visual senses crippled by the smoke now surrounding him, a mere chuckle exits from his throat. With that he focuses on any noise he can hear the enemy machines make while moving around in the smoke. "Spiders web." Only to fire a mass of spiked cords from both of his arms, in an attempt to hook unto at least one of the enemies.
Wrong direction Kain, but if you looked around; you'll find that the commandos had already found cover and concealment... But at least you've managed to disarm one of them, given that there's the remnants of a crushed arm littering the Parking lot; the two can't have gone too far though.

Foolish donkey, you would not be able to resist me if I wished your annihilation. As Kain looks up, part of his systems would determine the arc of the Mortar coming his way. Tracking it back to where it originated, and possibly where the enemy is setting up. The other part of his systems? That other part tore a large chunk free from the wall and tossed it at the mortar while it was still in mid-air. If Kain tracks the mortars path down right, he would dash towards that position.
Kain was right on the money... Given that there's a sniper hiding in one of the windows of the Quality control building and takes potshots at the Knight with a Gauss Rifle, firing hyper-dense ferrous slugs at a steady rate... All while Mortar shells rain down upon him.
The Mortar position is hiding on the Lot behind the Quality Control building.

"Alright. Bye."
He was going to turn back to his belongings, but quickly, he realized. Kaworu still had the spellbook.
You can keep it for the night. If anyone else joins, I want to make this interesting. Just remember to give it back, though.
