A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

We have a fancy French restaurant for special occasions. That's where they are.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@CDRW: This is one of those things where it just feels like there's some sort of unspoken fetish thing going on here, but I have no idea what it would be?
Reaction Image RepositoryI used to sneak into the Everfree Forest without my folks knowing, and practice flying as fast as I could without hitting anything. It was like a huge obstacle course. Then, one day, I clipped a tree. Broke my wing. I was grounded (in more ways than one) for two months.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlaySure did. But those two months I couldn't fly? They just dragged on forever. Then, when I got my cast off, I had to fly slow, so's I wouldn't re-injure my wing. Plus, I'd lost a lot of strength in that wing. I had to build it back up. The other foals called me "Wobble Dust" for a while. That's when I decided I was gonna show them all. I was gonna get my strength back, and be better than ever. I was gonna be the best and fastest flyer in Equestria some day!

Reaction Image RepositoryIn other news, I finally got the pirate comic, and Pinkie's face in this panel is hilarious.

Reaction Image RepositoryI was going to order the comics, but just when I got around to it, Amazon's out of volume 1, and it wouldn't make much sense to order the rest without it.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlaySorry to do this, but I need to vent, and I feel like I need to go to a somewhat-neutral party for this. I'm not going to name any names, everyone's going to stay anonymous. If anything about me posting this is frowned upon or against the rules, just let me know and I'll happily delete everything here.
Anyway, you guys know I play the trombone in a band, right? Well this year, we got a couple of freshmen trombone players. One of them's a music major (let's call him Billy), and he's the guy that's got me so worked up. Since the beginning of the year, he's been constantly losing his music, then since we play the same part, borrowing and using mine, without my knowledge or permission. Every time Billy did this, I would get annoyed at him and remind him he should talk to the band librarian to get new music, but otherwise let it slide since he would put it back.
But two weeks ago before rehearsal, I open my instrument case and find that my music wasn't where I left it. After some frantic searching and talking with some other people, it became obvious Billy borrowed it, but forgot to put it back. (The band's divided into different rehearsal timeslots most days, he and I are on different slots, but Tuesdays and Thursdays the entire band meets.)
Because I was assigned to a basketball game that weekend, I talked with the band librarian in order to get some replacement music I could use until Billy returned it. When I do, she tells me that she found Billy's music lying on the floor after the previous day's rehearsal. She lets me use it, on the condition I don't give it back to Billy until she has a talk with him about how to not lose his things.
I text Billy that night, asking if he did indeed have my music. He said he did, that he borrowed it and forgot to put it back. I told him that I had a basketball game that weekend, and really needed my music back before then. He never responded, and come gameday he was nowhere to be seen. He wasn't assigned to that game, but I still expected him to at least show up to give me my stuff.
Then Thanksgiving break happened, so that was a full week that he had my music on him. I return to rehearsal yesterday, open my case and find that my music still hasn't been returned. I had another basketball game that night, so I texted Billy again, he told me he'd get it to me, I told him I had a game, he didn't show up.
Today, he finally gave me back my music. Since he showed up literally seconds before rehearsal started, I couldn't talk with him, but afterwards I told him that he really needed to speak with the band librarian so he could get back his music. Guess what he tells me?
"No, it's okay, I already made a copy."
After that, he completely blew me off every time I told him that no, he still needs to talk with the librarian, and he eventually escaped out the door.
So just to reiterate, if I'm putting two and two together the way I think I am, then he not only deliberately didn't give me back the music he took as soon as he could, but he went behind the librarian's back to make photocopies of it (which by the way, costs us money. It's usually $5 for a replacement book of music). Now I'm normally a pretty nice guy, but right now I am absolutely furious at this guy, because not only does he not get that what he did is not okay, he's avoiding any sort of responsibility for it.
I'm not overreacting to this, am I? I think my anger is entirely justified here, but I need to hear what other people think.

@Lightning Dust Certainly does. Was there anything in your foal hood you can recall? Anything you used to do?
