A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

I just got back from seeing Hercules. (The one with The Rock in it, since strangely enough there are two different "Hercules" movies in theaters right now, for some reason.) In case anyone else was thinking of seeing it, you should know that it's being marketed as a completely different movie than it actually is.
It's closer to Conan The Barbarian than it is to Clash Of The Titans, to give you an idea. I liked it well enough, but then again I'm a bit of a Greek myth nerd, so the fact that the movie at least acknowledged several of the less well-known bits of the Heracles myth automatically won some points from me.

Feeling pretty meh about the rock band premise, but I'll wait until I've seen the movie instead of jumping to conclusions.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiThe first movie had a similarly iffy premise, but I still enjoyed it, so we'll see I suppose. I'm looking forward to it, if I'm not exactly excited at least.
In other news, I learned today that my electricity company, despite telling you you can sign up and change your address online, still requires you to call in, because if you don't then they register your address as the building, not an individual apartment... I learned this because my first electricity bill was almost 200 dollars as a result of this quirk. Fortunately that's fixed up now, at least.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.
The very same. Like I said, I thought it was enjoyable enough for what it was, but I can imagine it getting a lot of flak for the marketing promising a monster-fest, when the actual movie is much more concerned with more mundane (though still heroic) matters.
I mean, this version of Hercules might not be able to lift a mountain, but he's still almost impossibly strong, his archer companion pulls off things that could make Robin Hood look like an amateur, etc.

@Fleetfoot Okay enough already. I get it, I get it. Point is Fleetfoot, you are admired by thousands, your devoted to your job and ponies look up to you and your one cool pony.
