A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Marston: That would be a very interesting role reversal story! Yeah, there's already a story where Rainbow Dash has a wing injury, but this would presumably be about her relationship with Scootaloo and her having to adjust to being taken care of by somepony who she usually sees as a little sister. And on the flip side, Scootaloo trying to learn how to be like a doctor would be interesting too, especially with her suddenly being in a position where Rainbow Dash, who she idolizes, is actually dependent on her in some way.
Maybe that scene is Scootaloo rushing Rainbow Dash to the hospital since Rainbow Dash is too injured to go there herself?
Well I was out all afternoon and evening playing D&D.
Chocolate chip pancakes. Recipe: Get a box of bisquick mix. Do what is says on the back of the box. Add more chocolate chips than you're supposed to (I usually put in about 50% more).
And before you ask, chocolate chip pancakes do count as dinner at my family.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI am now picturing The Amber Spyglass.
@Irish If anything, it's worse. At least some Earthebenders have rebelled.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayLike, approaching 90% of my interactions with my old roommate after about March.
Suuuucks pretty hard.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Echolocation certainly doesn't but eh. It's still sweet.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. If you practice a lot, humans can use echo location to an extent. I can, though I need to focus my senses if I want to do it reliably. Like say, walk in public without a cane. So, Difficult, but Awesome.
I do wonder if Ben Underwood could actually play videogames. It doesn't seem like echolocation would help with a screen at all.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI believe at one point there was an effort to make a video game that would be playable by blind people. I can't remember if anything came of it, but with the potential of surround sound it would be possible to direct the player using sound. A lot of stuff currently relies on sound, be it subtle or overt - sound design is perhaps one of the more intense parts of game design, although almost universally the least funded.
But it's an interesting idea, at least. It'd be nice if it could happen, though I think it would inevitably be pretty simple, and might be similar to a game... the name of which I can't remember, but it was designed by a synesthetic who wanted to simulate what he experienced all the time, by blending sounds and colours.

In honor of the game I'm currently beating my head against,
