Probably a per-pony thing, just like with people and other parts of the body.

Just try it yourself and see.

Reminds me of Ginger, constantly asking for other opinions and refusing to try it if he doesn't get detailed critiques.

Seraphem hated it, as I recall. I thought it was hilarious, though I've only read the first half so far.

I was kinda disappointed that that particular arc didn't really add any depth to Shiny and Cady's romance; it was a love at first sight kinda thing. Though it's a more humor based arc, so I kinda wrote that part off.

What, the mirror arc of the comics again?

I enjoyed it, and beyond a conceptual level I don't really get most of the complaints being made. It's certainly not as good as it oculd be, but for what it is it's pretty good. I'd recommend it.

@Kegi Uh no actually it's the one with Shining Armour and Princess Cadance in high school that I was asking about.

No Kegi, they're talking about the "How SA and Cadence met" arc. Although I should mention one other problem I had with the Reflections arc besides the wasted potential. Throughout the arc, they make several Lampshade Hangings of the problems the arc has, and they do it in the worst possible way.[down] As in the "What I'm doing is stupid, and I know it's stupid, but I'm gonna do it anyway" method. Pointing out your problems does not make them go away, Katie.

Yes, but I was typing that before I saw you post it.

On a lighter note, I bought a toy of Grimlock that's based on the new Transformers movie {Which, now that I've seen it, I can say it's far better then the previous films}. He looks awesome. It's the third toy on this list.[down]

@Marston Fair point and also ehhh not a fan on Grimlock's design here. It makes him look like a godzilla reject at least in my opinion. Just the whole metallic form is just not agreeing with me here. Then again I've never been a fan of the Bayformers designs for the characters.

I was talking about one of the toys, not how he looks in the actual film {Which I still disagree with you on because I happen to like how he looks there}.

@Marston He looks alright in toy form but when he shows up in the movie....not so much. I don't know whether it's because I'm a Transformers fan and I'm used to his G1 design or the fact that his movie design just doesn't click with me. I dunno seeing Grimlock in dino form looking really weird and realistic is kinda jarring at least to me that is.

I never really liked the original look for Grimlock. Way too bulky and didn't look that much like a dinosaur IMO.

No, my opinion is better then yours, and your stupid for disagreeing with me.tongue

Speaking of different opinions, I actually found the new Transformers movie to be better then a good chunk of TF Prime. *Dodges tomatoes thrown at him* And this is coming from someone who didn't like the original trilogy that much {My views on those films are mostly the same as everyone else}.

@Marston For the most part, I consider the Bayformers films as guilty pleasures at least the first two. Just the first two, I didn't see the third nor do I have an intention to watch that along with the fourth film. True they aren't amazing films or anything but hey at least they'll keep me entertained to some extent that is.

The 4th film is actually pretty good. I recommend you watch it, as while it has some of the flaws from the previous films, it actually improves on a lot of them {And all that's needed to understand it is a handful of knowledge from the third movie}. And the Autobots actually have personality's this time too. None of the awful human characters from the first 3 movies return either.

@Marston Though it does suck that the army guys are actually the ones I would've like to see return for that movie. But apparently not. Other than that fuck the human characters in the Bayformers movies especially a certain actor who shall remain nameless for my benefit.

The human characters in the new movie are tolerable at worst and actually not that bad. There's 2 that some people debate over, but one of them get's a really brutal Take That, Scrappy! moment, while the other one was okay IMO. It helps that the main character has a much better actor then what Sam Witwicky had.

The SA/Cadance arc.... it wasn't 'bad' as in badly written, and, would have been a decent story... except in no way a 'pony' one. And if you hate cliched 80's teen romance stories, you won't really like the story. It just leans WAY to heavily on those things, which are so horrendously out of place in Equestria. nothing about it, at all, is 'pony' you could swap out the ponies for humans, and it would actually make the story better.

It had some good jokes, great lines, but the overall story has no business being in MLP.

Latest arc, yeah main issue was wasted potential. SO much they could have done great, but they tried to do to much, and none of it got done right. Also, more "romance makes you a fucking moron."
