@Marcen Well I had a bit of a headache, I had to sit down for a bit at the local cinema I was nearest to, then I had to go to the toilets to soothe the bite mark with water. Plus I may have overdid it with the salt when I put them on my chips and my mouth got all salty and ended up having to drink a cup of water in order to wash it all down. So yeah not a highlight for me.

@Star Ouch. I would tempt fate by saying those four words but I don't want to risk it.

@Marcen Worse still is that I intended to see How to Train Your Dragon 2 with a mate after I had probably finished my KFC but before that he ended up being late because of a traffic jam to pick me and took so long talking with my mum that I ended up missing the viewing I wanted to see. But ah well I guess I can always see it on Thursday with my other mate I guess.

As soon as I see Transformers 4, I'm going to tell you all what it's like. So far the only bad thing I've heard is that it goes on for too long. Just because it's a MB Transformers movie doesn't automatically mean it's another Revenge Of The Fallen in terms of quality.

@Marston Well that's Michael Bay for ya, dragging out movies is what he's also known for besides making things explode. Only second to that of Peter Jackson.

Eh whateves. I'm apathetic to TF in general. Yeah yeah coming from me here, but the G1 cartoon looks incredibly cheesy, more obviously merchandise driven, and the humans are fairly annoying. Op is cool though. And fuck Starscream is annoying.

It's cheesy in a good way though.

The later Transformers cartoons are much better and even serious at times. Well, aside from Beast Machines {Which is serious, but full of Character Derailment and a repetitive plot, and thus not something I'd recommend} and the Unicron Trilogy {Which is actually somehow more cheesy and dumb then the original cartoon}. I actually find Beast Wars in particular to be the best Transformers show in the franchise. And Transformers Prime, for all it's flaws, did manage to make the humans not end up annoying and instead actually make them entertaining characters. So the franchise as a whole isn't bad, just certain parts of it.

Well, it was an 80's cartoon. What do you expect?

And yes, Beast Wars is just freaking incredible. There is a reason it's still so well loved, and it has what is generally accepted to be the single greatest episode of ANY TF series ever. Code of Hero

@Star. I've seen about ten episodes so far. I think it's something you have to grow up with to love. To be fair, I probably say the same things about G1 pony, which wasn't devoid of it's own problems and cruddy animation.

Still, TF got a massive amount of cartoons, anime, and comics, can you blame me for being a bit bitter about Pony's relative neglect?

[up][up]Well, up until FIM, MLP wasn't considered very good by most people, so it didn't get anywhere near as much attention. Heck even nowadays we're lucky to have gotten the first 3 seasons of FIM on DVD, and you as well as the other G1 MLP fans are lucky to be getting the original cartoon on DVD. The point I was trying to make is that not all Transformers stuff is like Bayformers or the original cheesy cartoon, much like how not all MLP stuff is Newborn Cuties.

[up]Well, honestly, most versions of Starscream are just comic relief who got owned by Megatron and the autobots repeatedly. The only exceptions I can think of come from the various comics and, oddly enough, the Unicron Trilogy despite everything else wrong with it.
