A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

I remember eating a whole bag of Chicken & Waffles flavored lays. Oh boy.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI just had chocolate chip pancakes. I'm beginning to suspect that the recipe on the box is wrong. I think I'll try putting double milk next time to see if that helps.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayFrom my experience, novelty chip flavors tend to be either delicious or horrible.
Reaction Image RepositoryWalgreens has cheeseburger flavored chips. I don't even know.
Has anyone had the cheesy garlic bread lays chips? Are they good?
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/Yeah the flavors are out. There's cheesy garlic bread, sririacha, and chicken & waffles.

http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/I've had Chicken and Waffles before (in California, so not that much of a Southern thing I guess), but I can't immagine why anyone would want flavored chips like that. I mean, are they chicken flavored or waffle flavored? Either one sounds gross.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play> are they chicken flavored, or waffle flavored?
Yes. Yes they are.
I've been to a restaurant that served that, in Oregon. It was a weird restaurant though. None of my food was very good.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/I had chicken and waffles in South Carolina once, and it was pretty good.
But Epcot Japan takes the cake with Green Tea Kit Kats. I was tempted to buy them just to try, but I don't care for Kit Kats.

"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. SarkIn general, Kit Kats are really big in Japan ("Kit Kat" sounds like their equivalent of "good luck" meaning it's a popular gift for students and such) and they have tons of bizarre flavors. That said, it's only really "weird" until you're used to it.
My parents had never seen salt and vinegar potato chips before living in Canada for a few years, but now they're everywhere.
Reaction Image RepositoryThe way I hear it, Kit Kats can be taken as an abbreviation of Kito K Atsu which comes out roughly "Surely your lucky." So yeah, they're popular in tests and good luck reminders as JT said.
@JT: I had heard there were other flavors, and I think I saw a couple more flavors too, but the green tea ones stuck out to me. Apparently they have soy sauce flavored ones too, according to The Other Wiki.
If it didn't cost a fortune to ship here, I'd totally try weird Japanese snack food.

"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. Sark@Princess Gwen I did get an awesome Sonic the Hedgehog t-shirt while I was at said Pavilion. They even made charms and necklaces from oysters while I was there or something along those lines anyway. But yeah never thought Kit Kats meant something else in Japan but...there we go I guess.

@Story Insane people, Story, insane people. There was one time that we had celebrity endorsements crisps and we had egg flavoured ones at one point. I really wish I was making that up right now.
