A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

All of the usual forum rules apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

You mean just lighting up their horn? You wouldn't be able to see that from far.

Any unicorn who could make enough light from their horn to serve as a signal would have a floodlight for a cutie mark.

Any of you guys watch the Mentally Advanced series? I think it's pretty...
Not a fan. Though I thought his take on Trixie was quite amusing.

Can any of you please maybe show me some cute pics to cheer me up? I'm getting increasingly pissed off over a really petty thing, and I'd rather not be.sad

You know, I wonder what Derpi image number 666666 will end up being.

It'll probably just be something innocuous.

Also, both are Ensemble Darkhorses.

Wait... the entire central motif of Atlas Shrugged is a massive contradiction. The thing is about how gubmint can't do anything and true progress can only be made through free market enterprise (and then only by sole proprietors because corporations are dumb and it's totally okay for a CEO to take his stockholders for a ride).

But the protagonist... is the head of a railway company. In America. Trains are the central motif in the thing. But in America the big railways happened... because of government assistance.

Nothing in this movie makes sense.

A philosophy appealing to creators with no sense of foresight or self-awareness.

Or so it is commonly presented, at least. Truth told I do feel a bit guilty about bashing a philosophy I've not looked into in much depth, but I mean, with the way it's always been presented...

Calling him "good" is kind of a stretch, though. He's still a supervillain, even if he's a bit of an anti-villain.
