A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Have you actually READ the comic though, Kix? It's pretty obscure and from what I've seen some of it wouldn't really fly.

From what i've seen, yeah, it wouldn't work as a "Family film", but this is the same company that turned Prince of Persia into a PG-13 bomb.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI thought the Prince of Persia movie wasn't terrible, mostly because the other video game movies were much worse.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qDisney Animation never goes above PG, really, so.

But seriously, this trip took a lot of saving. Most of this was done on my dime, and the things that weren't, I'm paying my parents back for.
@Star: Yeah, we were only in Animal Kingdom once. The Safari was neat, but that's about it. Hollywood was another one we went to a lot, because my cousin loved the Animation Academy.

Well, then nevermind.
The closest i'd want to get to the service is Peace Corps or serving an Army sign up booth.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI'm a bit wary of theme parks, not because of the theme parks themselves, but because having a good time kind of hinges on having good weather. The last time I was at Disneyland (second time), it rained enough to disrupt our entire trip.
I haven't been to a park like Disney since Wonderland...and, due to a horrible depression, I did not have a good time.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qI went to Disneyland in Paris. Not a whole lot to it, but it was fun I guess.
I wager you'd get several illnesses that end in 'ia'.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI went to the one in Florida. It was during November, so it was a lot less busy than usual. Bonus was that I went with a bunch of friends. We had those passes that let you just go from park to park at will, so we abused the heck out of it.
Reaction Image RepositorySome movies do get kinda edgy. Rescuers, Dumbo, Princess and the Frog, the Black Cauldron oh so much, Pinokio, and Pokahontis. Also Wreckit Ralph is pretty cynical for a Disney movie, and has something of a torture scene. Frozen isn't as dark, but certainly has subtexts that ressonate with older viewers.
Kyler: You'd probably never find out. If the rain's more than a drizzle, they shut down all the rides.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI've only been to Disney World once, when I was 14. I had a good time in spite of my friend's a-hole parents.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!@ed: Yeah, Clayton's death in Tarzan was really brutal. Remember watching that when I was older and being kinda freaked out by it.
I think Hunchback of Notre Dame wins for darkest Disney movie (out of the ones I've seen). Mostly because Frollo.
@Kyler: No he wanted to commit genocide.

"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. Sark@Star Ah, it's ok. It was when I thought I wasn't going to any college, I got rejected many times, and it was hard to do anything. One day, I went with my sisters to Wonderland and, I HAD to because if I didn't, my dad would tear me out for staying home and being depressed in my bed so I went to Wonderland, depressed and it scared the crap out of my sisters and one of their friends. So I lost either way.
I'm all better! Happened in 2009....MJ's death may have had something to do with it but not really.
