A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

I'm gonna stop by the MLP fanfic thread and ask people if they want to read the first draft of chapter 1 of my story.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/Good question.
Also on the subject of fan content, just for anyone who missed it last night, I'm not gonna be spamming y'all with updates on my comic anymore. :P I'm going to be trying to stick to a M/W/F update schedule, so if you're interested in following it, check the links in my sig on T/Th/Sat. I've put up two new pages since the last time I posted a new one here.
And on that note, I haven't drawn anything pony-related in forever. Anyone got a request?
Still waiting on Crowlover.
Thanks for the reminder, I forgot about it. Guess I need to pester him.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Wryte: Twilight chasing after the Hayburglar. Who's basically the ponified version of the Hamburglar.
Reaction Image RepositoryDidn't expect that.
(I'm starting to feel like I need to watch that show. I keep seeing references to it everywhere.)
If you're talking about Jojos Bizarre Adventure, you should watch it, because it's awesome.
Reaction Image RepositoryIs it normal that I don't update much at the moment, want to, and can't because i'm lazy?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceLouise's humanizations are growin' on me.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectHey Syd, I'm upset at my family again. That's your cue to start complaining about my attitude.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/Uh... Okay, this is bad. I think I fucked up my computer.
Edit- nevermind, I fixed it.

Reaction Image RepositoryWell, I downloaded a new rainmeter skin suite, inspired by Android kitkat. It had a bunch of skins, including a lock screen... which I activated by accident. And I couldn't turn it off. It wouldn't let me do anything. I tried every button on the keyboard.
I thought it would go away if I reset the computer, but it didn't. So then I had to reset the computer again and try to turn off rainmeter, didn't do it fast enough so it activated again, then I reset again and I deleted the file for the skin from my computer before it could activate. I barely made it, because Rainmeter loaded about five seconds later.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/While I don't watch this show, but from what I've heard and read about it doesn't seem to do anything new when it comes to most children's shows. It's got a lot of flaws, it's not very deep in terms of writing unless you're looking waaaayyy too much into it, which I'll get to in a second, and just the humor and simplicity of it makes it feel a little generic, besides some easy-to-know morals. It doesn't seem like 'Oscar genius'...unless it isn't supposed to be?
The reason I come here is to not to complain, but to understand.
Is watching this show a way for people to find happiness in a world surrounded by such tragedy and darkness?
I say this because I honestly don't see any other reason for this thread to last nearly 80,000 pages discussing the realistic physics of Rainbow Dash's rainboom, and every piece of fanart or source on the internet that mentions it. So why isn't this the case for most other shows?
If you genuinely like it for what it is, not to escape from the harshness of reality, I guess I can understand that. I only say all this for clarity.

I (briefly) worked food service in college and in general health codes are notoriously picky. Even if you fully intend to follow them, it's really easy to miss something.
