A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Except that we see that she does care about the project. The whole plot is her angsting that she doesn't know what to do for it, yet she doesn't make much effort to solve the problem.
Only after getting called out on it and forced to deal with it. I didn't find anything about it to be hard to see happening or understand why someone would be in that spot. Supposed to be in a group, know nopony really wants to be in a group with her. To embarrassed to say something and knows if she does the teacher will just force a group to take her in and she knew they'll resent her for it. And no clue what to do on her own. But the close the deadline gets, the worse the fear of saying something gets, and the harder it gets to find an answer. With everything feedback onto each other over and over.
That's true to a point, but it hardly absolves her of any responsibility either. I'm not saying that she's a lazy bum who deserved to fail the project; just that it's not wholly the fault of her teacher either. It goes both ways. Obviously, yes, her teacher could handle things better. But on the flipside, Snowdrop does need to take the initiative to get something done rather than sit around and complain about how she can't do anything.
And since this discussion is going in circles, I'm heading for bed now.

Reaction Image RepositoryWelp, just home from my first ever session of Pathfinder. It was good. :D
Our party is:
- Me as a female half-orc sorceress wielding a greataxe
- My fitness instructor as a bisexual male half-orc barbarian archer with Anything That Moves tendencies
- A female gnome sorceress with a gardening obsession
- Her second cousin through a shared grandpama (grandpa got cursed and they don't know which s/he prefers now) who goes everywhere on a giant riding gecko
- And a female elf rogue who hasn't done anything notable yet.
So far we're halfway through a mission to collect a bunch of reagents from a swamp and find a missing library book. We've fought off a pack of kobold archers, our barbarian was bitten by a snake he decided to play Steve Irwin with, and I ditched him in a gay bar where he got in a fight with a pickpocket. Not in that order.
So yeah, off to a good start. XD
Hah, sounds like fun.
Half-orcs are da best. Elves also make for good rogues. They make the best pricks.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project

Well, i'm still wondering if the glowing horn and aura around levitating objects is viasable in verse. We've never seen anypony react to them or mention them.
And if you're treat like that in school. Pushed around that much, and just the broken down by it, yeah why really care about a project? Which causes which?
