A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Tonight on the Pony thread: Hot lesbian orgies.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!Yeah, involving thin, colorful, anatomically impossible horses. [For some however...

I don't think any of the ponies are particularly thin. If anything their proportions make them look kinda pudgy.
Reaction Image RepositoryGuess I'm just used to G1 designs, it's what I grew up with.
G4 designs seem kinda, lanky? I guess is how I'd put it. Tall and thin relative to their proportions. Then again I only have some still shots to go off of.
I'm trying to connect my computer to our livingroom tv to try getting a better look at how they move in episodes.
I don't really get what Rarity saw in Trenderhoof.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!Why exactly should there be proof? I mean, not that it's relevant at all, but assuming they aren't straight, what's the big deal there?
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Well the trenderhoof thing was ok.
Rarity turning into an utter moron for some random, out of nowhere crush.. was okay? It was the worst case of character derailment in the season and just utterly slamming an Idiot Ball down a ponies throat for the sake of a stupid plot.
So, do any of you guys remember when I was debating whether to buy some PD Fs for a tabletop game earlier this week? (probably not)
Well I checked online today on a whim and they were on sale for 75% off. 5 bucks each, plus tax. I bought them. I'm in a good mood.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/That episode gave us Applejewel. Your argument is invalid, Sera. :P
^ Niiiiice. Usually, it's the other way around: you buy something, and then a week later it goes on sale.
Anyway, I just finished drafting the fifth page of my comic, so I'm gonna rest my wrist a bit and then get started on the line art.

@Seraphem: I think it had some difficulty, but to say that it was blatantly out of character just isn't true. Rarity's always been melodramatic and prone to overwroughtness, and "Best Night Ever" shows that she's also prone to infatuation. I think that they exaggerated it a bit too much, but I think that the simple concept of her getting a crush on some random journalist is totally in-character for her. The portrayal in the episode was a bit wonky, but nowhere near Character Derailment. My main issue with that episode was more with how she was oblivious to Spike than on her infatuation with Trenderhoof.

Reaction Image RepositoryHeck, Cadance and Shining Armor are married, and that still doesn't stop people from shipping them with others of both sexes.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!Yeah, honestly I'd rather have them focus on either Mr. and Mrs. Cake (so they get more screentime and development) or maybe Big Mac and Cheerilee. Not that I dislike SA and Cadance, but I feel like the fact that Cadance is a princess would be a bit distracting from the mundane aspects of it. There's also the fact that she's the alicorn of Love, and out of any married couples on the show, you'd think she'd be least likely to run into trouble. And besides that the fact that they live in the Crystal Empire means there's have to be some plot contrivances to either get them to Ponyville, or get the cast to the Crystal Empire. And honestly, I'd rather keep the action in Ponyville.

I'm pretty sure that both Flutterdash and Rarijack are fairly popular. Twijack is underrated.
