A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

She may be vindictive, spiteful and selfish, but even she knows to drive carefully.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. How are they supposed to get ice cream when they don't even exist in the same dimension?

I was going to say it's not even night yet, but lol timezones.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlaySo, should another villain reform? I know we had Trixie and Discord, but I want a few others. There aren't that many, though.
- The Shadowbolts (if they even exist)
- Gilda
- The Parasprites
- Diamond Tiara & Silver Spoon
- Flim & Flam (this one is very unlikely)
- Garble/The Teenage Dragons
- Queen Chryslis
- King Sombra, assuming he's not dead
- Sunset Shimmer, though it seems she turned good at the end.
- Lightning Dust
- The Timberwolves
- The Diamond Dogs
- That thing that attacked Apple Bloom with 3 heads
- Ahuizotl
- Suri Polomare
I'd say Tirek, but redeeming him would be the worst thing the series ever did. Besides, he's pretty much Satan. Did I forget anyone?
Shadowbolts were just an illusion created by Nightmare Moon, and the Parasprites weren't evil so much as just being a natural disaster with no real morality. Everything else counts, though.
That's true, but on the flipside one of the things I liked about "Griffon the Brush-Off" (and one of the things that sold me on the show in general) was how they didn't make her nice at the end. When I first watched the episode way back when, I was almost certain that it was going to go the general way of "they teach her the error of her ways", and it really impressed me that they instead went with "sometimes being nice to someone isn't enough to make them nice, and sometimes you need to cut ties". It was one of the first times that the show actually impressed me.
Not that I'm against having Gilda get reformed, but I do think it needs to show that rebuilding a friendship like that is not easy and will have a lot of misgivings on both Gilda and Dash's sides. I don't think glossing it over in one episode would work very well. (note: I think it worked with Trixie because while Trixie was sort of a jerk in her initial appearance, her conflict was much less personally antagonistic and her antagonism wasn't entirely out of spitefulness. Having her do a quick turnaround made more sense.)

Reaction Image RepositoryI wonder how much of Trixie's antogonism was just part of her stage persona rather than real feelings.
