A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Also, according to the director Jim Miller, that bit with the rows of ponies getting in Dash's way was indeed a Frogger
reference.
I wouldn't want Ponies in Smash Bros, as its suppose to be a celebration of Nintendo characters with the occasional 3rd party character that's somewhat relevant to the company (Sonic had the big rivalry, Mega Man started out on the NES. Solid Snake's the only odd ball, but he's still a video game character that's appeared on Nintendo consoles).
Now, a Hasbro crossover fighting game similar to Smash Bros? That I would spend money on...
Anyways, as for today's episode... am I the only one that doesn't see what's wrong with Fluttershy spending a few months, maybe a year, away to train an Orthos? Probably for a hefty payment? Do I understand the magic of friendship so badly, I'd sell my friends out for a book?
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!@Calnos: SSB is a celebration of Nintendo characters, yes. However, that isn't as important as the quality of the game in general, and it's appeal to consumers. If they were to add twilight to it, how much more money do you think they would make? That would make the game appeal more to a young girl audience, and older pony fans.
"Moody Stops Bicycle Theft, Takes No Prisoners"- Harry Potter and the Natural 20I've gotten round to watching this episode, and I've took away three things:
1. Trading ponies for slave labor is apparently perfectly legal.
3. SHIPPING!
Seriously though, it was a nice and enjoyable lighthearted episode.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.Oh yeah - another thing that bothered me, related to Pinkie. Her freaking that little kid out. Seriously, what the hell?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Well, *sniff* you don't catch feather flu from being out in bad weather. That's an old ponies tale. It's feather flu season. It's a virus, spread from pegasi to pegasi. Highly contagious. If one of us gets it, we *all* get it, eventually. Now it's my t... T...
\*CHOOOO*
...turn. *snfff* Lucky me.

"The pony thread attracts some rather ... juvenile ... personalities. Maybe that's just its nature; who knows." ~ Fighteer

Twilight has every RIGHT to revolve the conflict between Applejack and Rarity! She's the princess! She said herself at the beginning that she's here on royal business. So she had NO PROBLEM settling the dispute, and did a hell of a great job doing it.
