A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

I doubt I'll ever achieve outright fame, but I can hope to at least become known to some people on the internet someday.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayThanks for the honesty. My artwork is VERRRY shakey and the reason I do "Childish was to match the style of JG Quintel's Regular Show. But this art sucks worse than his style by 100 miles. Whenever I want to I can try and draw more articulate, but sadly, that still isn't digital. My next investment should be a drawing tablet, and Paint tool sai. My friend said before I do that I need to get better with drawing on paper first. I guess for one thing is my grip with pencils: it's a problem since birth. It's like they cramp up! So for now, i'm gonna just "try" and accept that I have bad art skills until I can hire a line artist to do better than me, and I just fill it in.
Yeah, trying to get famous is a pain. Focus on improving your skills as best you can. Also, if traditional drawing is difficult for you, consider branching into other media. I remember you linked to some pixel art you did that actually looked pretty good. Try experimenting with that and see how it turns out.
Reaction Image RepositoryDuh. Who doesn't?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayThat feeling when the conversation takes a weird turn and you suddenly realize that everhyone but you is probably talking in song lyrics or something.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI don't even listen to a lot of music. Sometimes I just get lucky with pop culture references.
Funfact: I was always like o_O when listening to the song in the past because I kept hearing "people will see me and die".

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...@popularity: I think I prefer flying under the radar as opposed to being popular. I attract less crazy people and people begging for requests/ commissions that way. If I bothered to apply myself more, then maybe I could cross the line from "decent" to "something actually worth attention", but I lack the ambition most of the time.
@music: I'm almost never not listening to music while on the computer. Music is great.
Btw, JT, I'd like to submit this
as a reaction image for the archive.
Gwen- I for one think you're a pretty good artist. :3
And some music is great, but not all music.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/I listen to musci nearly constantly while on the computer too. But I listen to instrumental music, not popular songs.

-slinks in- I'm back from college everyone... I truly doubt I'd ever achieve any fame. (You all saw my artwork and how... horrendously substandard it is...)
