A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Well yes, that is true - though fishing for compliments is not unheard of despite.
Dash doesn't really strike me as the type to have body issues, though. Though, She could easily be simply unaware of how adorable she is. Or attractive, in-universe I suppose.

That, and Rarity seems pretty content to gush over guys without knowing all that much about them, so...

The Sweetie Plush is precious and I should like the opportunity to have one.
Also I bet someone out there outfitted a Sweetie plushie with animatronics and some AI to make themselves a Sweetie Bot.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I want a mini-hydra. I'll call it George.
Ace: Considering earth ponies are strong enough to pull trains at high speeds, that part didn't really surprise me so much as the idea that someone other than Pinkie owns a crazy ass helicopter thing.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiMaybe she borrowed the helicopter from RD. Or was it AJ who had the helicopter?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI can't quite recall who had the helicopter in the toyline, but my instinct says it was Pinkie :V AJ had the truck, Rarity had a scooter, and Sweetie commandered the dessert car from the Friendship Express.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Pony's not as anvilicious about To Sell Toys as the brother franchise Transformers, where Cybertronians regularly job to the Gimmick Power of the Week, or get killed by the script so that the latest guy from this month's catalogue can take his place on the show. At least Animated didn't go overboard with that kind of thing, although they made the show's transformations almost 1-for-1 accurate with the toys, right down to Bumblebee having a pseudo-hood torso design because his vehicle mode actually has a bigger form than his robot mode chest.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! The only one I'd say was really obvious was the Breezies. Normally they do a good job of working it into the storyline.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play

That would certainly explain the rather stark changes in fashion.
