A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Crap, I completely forgot there's no episode next week.
We'll be back to talking about video games, pony boobs and cheese in no time.
Oh, wait. We talk about those now.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out! That was a great episode about people (and ponies) having different learning styles! I liked Pinkie's rap, of course, and her method (learning through music) would be the way that would help me the best, although I'm also good at learning through reading like Twilight is.
I'd have to say that despite my username, Rainbow Dash is pretty much my opposite. I CANNOT imagine myself being able to learn by walking along, talking to someone else AND trying to learn by watching/reading things that are going on along the side of wherever I'm walking, that sounds extremely overwhelming to me. I'm the type who Twilight would want as a student, since I would prefer sitting and reading. About the only kind of multitasking I can do is listening to music while reading/playing games, and that's mainly because the music is usually there because it's there to keep me from getting distracted by non-music ambient noises. I think I actually have problems with trying to look at things to the sides or watch all around me while moving, particularly when walking but also when riding in a car, I have a hard time looking at things quick enough when people try to point things like signs or objects out to me. And yes, this is probably why I'm terrified of driving because there would be so many things to visually keep track of at the same time, and why I rely on my parents driving me or on public transportation. Part of it is I have some balance/motor skills problems that I've had since I was born (PM me if you want to know the details) and thus I get scared of falling or tripping on stuff if I'm not watching the ground while I walk. The plus side of this for me is because I have tiny dogs, that helps me not step on them while I'm walking because they sometimes like to walk right in front of my feet, especially Luna.

Star, you got some 'splainin' to do.

@Star: I'd think she'd be okay as long as you pay attention. She was mainly ornery because she thought RD was blowing her off. If anything she was being pretty patient. When RD was doodling over everything with the highlighter I thought Twi was going to freak out.
