A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Star I make that same face every time I go to work. Everytime someone says something obvious, like I know EXACTLY what to do, they tell me to do it even if I'm in the middle of CLEARLY doing it. Know what I mean?

Reaction Image Repository@Star Yeah, but then again, I barely talk to anyone at work because I don't want to...I want to talk to them.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qI can never understand the genre distinctions either.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayA sadly forgotten figure in music history is Corn Dog, one of the true pioneers of country rap.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!I generally pick songs individually rather than by genre. I don't think there's a genre where I haven't found at least something to like, though country, death metal and dubstep tend to be the most hit-and-miss for me. On the other hand, I lean heavily toward video game music, I guess one might say I have a thing for grand orchestral tracks.

I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!I usually just listen to random music until I happen to hear something I like. Then I download it and add it to my main playlist.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlaySo, an update on how things are going with me. The medication seems to be working really well. I actually felt it working on the very first day even though you have to start with an eighth of the normal dosage level and build up over time. It felt really weird at first because I was in the middle of a swing from depressive episode to hypomanic one when it kicked in. I felt like a lightswitch being held in the middle position, with the lights flickering and the smell of ozone coming from the box. But since then I've settled into a normal feeling mood. My mind is clear, I've got energy and drive to do the things I want, and my interests are starting to come back as well. Now I just have to hope it keeps working, and that none of the possible side effects pop up.
@Story Same. Have you ever downloaded a song, listened to it constantly, forgot about it, deleted it, came back to it and wondered why you got it in the 1st place?
@CD I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qWell over time I've deleted a few of the songs that I picked really early on when I didn't have many and was much less selective.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Story Oh. Because I have a Rihanna song on my laptop, which keeps popping up even though I thought I deleted before.

Sweet, music is awesome. I rarely know what genre the stuff I listen to is in though.
