A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

On the subject of roleplaying games not needing to be about combat, that's totally true. Just look at Fallen London. It's a good example of stats being used against die rolls beng used for any kind of encounter, from bashing someone in the jaw to seducing an artist to hiding in the shadows to writing poetry.
With the right setup, you can totally make an RPG system for the purpose of simulating conversation or political encounters. After all, it's all abstraction, when you get down to it.

I have a message from another time...True enough. I never said a pony RPG needs to be combat oriented but I like a Pathfinder module with ponies, so it is combat oriented.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I never had the patience to actually read the book. But I read about it on Tv Tropes.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayWell my mum was offering some chocolates out of a box that she normally has delivered to the house with raisins, caramels that sort of thing. And my sister decided it would be SOOO great to just mention my box of chocolates and toffees that I got from a neighbour of mine for my birthday. And my mum didn't know what she was talking about and then I had to tell her what she meant and she then stupidly goes out of her way just to make a POINT about my fucking box full of toffees and chocolates. And then we ended up in this STUPID argument about whether toffees were chocolates or not and in my frustration I had to bring the box down from my room and then READ THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX IN ORDER TO PROVE MY POINT AND SHE STILL WON"T FUCKING MOVE ON FROM THAT TOPIC! GOD!
Man dealing with my younger sister is like having to go and race against Canary Mary in Banjo Tootie, it's just frustrating work as it is.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeReminds me of a board game I saw people playing recently which simulates negotations on the UN Security Council.
It sounds frustrating, but just be glad it's not something serious. Remember Applelight's Mom?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayMagical Mystery Cure. She shows Twilight a picture of one of her own Imagine Spots from Lesson Zero. Though it makes a lot of other stuff make more sense. Word of Faust was already that Celestia had supernatural knowledge too. Luna and Discord having mind reading also explains a lot and it makes sense for a dreamwalker.
Maybe She-Hulk does? I heard she was a lawyer.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play

Now that's just common sense.
Though I jokingly suggested some more amusing plans first.
Re Jekyl And Hyde. It's amusing that it's gone so far into It Was His Sled that most people don't even know it's supposed to be a spoiler.
