A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Well my first attempt at a Nuzlocke run didn't go so well. I got poisoned by the Super Nerd's Koffing at the end of Mt Moon and my Wartotle died on the way to Cereulean. I made it to Cerleuan with only a Magikarp, so I don't relaly see what I could possibly do.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play"If I don't make it, tell my sister I said 'hello.'"
I wonder if Maud has had any friends before this episode. She's probably fairly off putting to most ponies, and despite how she acts she clearly does have emotions that she just doesn't display openly. So when Pinkie said that she'd never seen Maud happier, it makes me think that's because its the first time she's made friends outside of her immediate family.
This is my first Nuzlocke so I wasn't relaly aware of the importance of healing items. I used the antidote from the Viridian Forest during the Bug Catcher fight.
Amazingly, I managed to not encounter a single wild pokemon in the Viridian Forest. For Mt. Moon, I tried to catch a Zubat, but after using dodging two balls I just gave up. So all I had was Wartortle and Magikarp.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayIncidentally, I wonder how hard it would be to beat the game without catching any pokemon at all. (Bulbasaur can learn Cut, Gyrados and Lapras can learn Surf and Strength, and Fly and Flash are not actually necessary. It's probably possible, but relying on a Venasaur as your main would probably take a lot of grinding.")
Pokemon. Also a discussion of ponies, amazingly enough.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@NES Uhhh....no my night was alright there was just one moment that was a little uncomfortable that was at Pizza Hut. Let me explain, basically there was a guy who happened to be a friend of one of my mates and he had a Despicable Me shirt on of the minions. Nothing wrong with that of course. But then he decided it would be a GREAT idea to talk about the minions endlessly and the fact that he's got a plushie collection, slippers the works. He went on and on and on about it and even poked his nose into my business about a planned trip I have lined up for late April. And yeaaah...things just went a little out of control with that guy.
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime@NES It wasn't awful or anything it was just the fact that guy just wouldn't shut up about the minions. Now, I don't have a problem with the minions at all and I don't have a problem with people who like a movie that's fine with me if ya do like a certain movie but please don't go into detail about how you've got a big collection of plushies it's your business, not mine.
@Story Well I DID excuse myself from the conversation a bit to go to the toilet. But really he shouldn't been talking about him liking the minions too much in the first place. It was basically too much information for me.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeI think maybe the world would be a better place when people just tell people when they're not interested.

Now I'm trying to imagine how Maud would act like in a relationship.
"I love you."
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power..."I know."

"Me too."
