A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

No, they're unrelated, though I did adapt the sprites I created for Pickory to use in the GBA game.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayWell the puzzles were designed to be a challenge. I was actually surprised by how easily some people figured them out.
Incidently, when I played Braid, it reminded my very strongly of my own approach to puzzle design. Every 'trick' is only used once and every puzzle is something different. Of course, it meant that I had to consult walkthroughs several times playing Braid since I kept getting stuck.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI really suck at video games. I really have no clue how to get that box down. And seeing as though I got no further in the pool, I die instantly going right and I die no matter when I do anything different on the left path, it's left me unenthused. Of course, I gave up almost instantly on I Wanna Be The Guy too as I couldn't even get halfway through a single puzzle.
When I got Portal 2 two christmases back, I never thought I'd get into it and have so much fun with that game. And it was probably the first game where it challenged my intellect and like I said have so much fun with it.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeHint on the puzzle: You can go farther on a fling by holding down the arrow keys.
AS for the left path, I'm not sure what you mean. Have you gotten to the Super Meat Boy area at all?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayLeft into the building with the spikes that you drop down the bottomless pit to the Portal area.
I don't even know what that means.
And I don't know how flinging myself further will help when the block is up (sort of).
EDIT:
Probably.
There's a reason that I prefer Tabletop RP Gs. I can reason with the GM.

Wryte- I'm doing one too. I lost my Squirtle in Brock's gym. To a critical hit, from the junior trainer you fight before Brock. It was rather frustrating.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/@Sereg: A Nuzlocke run is a Pokémon game that follows two rules:
1) You can only attempt to catch the first Pokémon you encounter in the wild on any given route.
2) If a Pokémon in your party faints, it's effectively dead. You have to either release it or store it in your PC for the rest of the game.
I wonder if you could create optional 'Twitch' rules to simulate the difficulty of TPP.
Basically there are actually two paths left side branching out from the first screen to the left (the IWBTG screen). You can either drop down the hole in the middle to get to the Portal area, or you can keep going left to get to the Super Meat Boy/Iji area.

Ouch. :(
I'm doing pretty well so far. I lost my rattata pretty much instantly after catching it, but I wasn't going to use it anyway, and that's the only one I've lost so far. My bulbasaur and spearow are both level 15, and I just caught a nidoran female that I'm leveling up before I tackle Mt. Moon.
What exactly is the Nuzlocke challenge?
I only just found out a couple days ago, myself. I'd heard references to it before, but I'd been guessing that it was something like there was a legendary pokemon named Nuzlocke that you could only catch within a time limit of starting the game.
Never heard of Super Meat Boy before now, I know very little about Iji and I didn't think it was even possible to go further left with the whole spikes killing you thing.
So I went to what I thought was my doctor's appointment to see if I can get a prescription for depression medication today. Turns out it was actually a screening to see if I get to see the doctor to see if I can get a prescription for depression medication. The real appointment isn't for another two weeks.
CDRW- well that's annoying, not to mention more complex than what I went through.
Wryte- sounds like I'm just barely ahead of you. Wonder which of us will finish first.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/That sucks. But from the sounds of things, at least you did get an appointment, right? So, small silver lining there?
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Yeah, that is good. But at the same time, I'm a bit worried though. I still have to go through the doctor's evaluation, and I've been having a good couple of weeks lately. If his questions only focus on how I've been in the short-term... Well, I've been through up-swings like this before. They're temporary, and the crash afterwards is pretty bad.

You don't really have to know anything about SMB or Iji.
But yes, you can get past the spike wall. There's at least 4 ways to do it.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play

Is this what eventually became the Portal sections in Pickotry?
