A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Well. This day is going poorly.
I'm going to be working a full 8 hour shift at Walgreens tonight. And we have now hired two people to help dad paint at the rental house we have to fix up. You'd think that would mean I don't have to do much besides the usual chores before work, right?
Nope. Mom wants me to work at the rental house for a few hours.
Fuck this nonsense.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Well, long before this ep aired, some guy from /mlp/ had been drawing an ever-so-slightly-offensive comic series where Maud was mentally disabled.
What say you now, guy?

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectHonestly, the chances of it getting much attention are pretty low, given that it went up right as a new episode aired. I'll put a link to it on the IPT tumblr though.
Reaction Image RepositoryDamn Pinkie, stop to take a breath
Aww, Pinkie kind of cowers a bit right before Maud hugs her. Its sort of sad and adorable.

Maud's expression is just: "Ugh, what on earth were you thinking? You could have hurt yourself. Come here."
Amazing how much she can say with so little.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI haven't seen the new episode yet, but from what I've read about it on the recap page and the comments here, I'm excited for it because Maud sounds like the kind of character I would LOVE, given that I tend to like the stoic Emotionless Girl characters. She sounds like a female version of Big Macintosh because they're also both very strong! Plus, I'm very relieved that they didn't go the Friend In Deed route of "Maud has to learn to be friendly like Pinkie" as an Aesop (sounds like they thankfully didn't make her have to change to be more outgoing) and instead they did the lesson of "you can't force somepony to be friends with you (but if you're patient you can find common ground)" which is what I had wished they had done with Friend In Deed. When I saw the preview I was a little worried that the story would be about Pinkie teaching her sister "be friendly like ME!" but instead it sounds like Pinkie was the one who knew and accepted her sister's ways more than the others (which would make sense because she IS Pinkie's sister and thus Pinkie would have known her for much longer).

Maud and Big Mac are total party animals.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!One of the few times Gummy has ever registered an expression.

Yes, she said Rocktorate.
I totally missed that. Pinkie is hard for these ears to understand sometimes.
