A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Dark: This is the Internet. Posts can go a long way if they're entertaining enough.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Kind of odd to see Trixie of all ponies embarrassed. You'd think she'd love it.
Not like she's gonna get any kind of efficiency out of it if she's fighting it the whole way down.

Obviously it's because ponies have no concept of Santa.
Well, Ol' Louie never went to Equestria, same goes for Asmodeus and Beezlebub.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI find that even when I manage to go to bed early, I just end up waking up early. It's difficult to get more sleep than your body wants to, even if you're still tired.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI tend to get about 7-8 hours a sleep a night, sometimes a bit less. 7 hours is my standard during the week, because I tend to put off going to bed as long as possible - I spend my evenings working on portfolio stuff so I can get a better job, so I tend to prioritize that over leeping enough for a lousy but, quite frankly, pretty easy job that I'm not really gonna like anyways.
I get closer to 8 hours on the weekend. Sometimes cutting it close on Friday-Saturdays on account of pony, though I still tend to feel better even when I don't get enough sleep since a midnight-Ten AM schedule is much more comfortable to me than a 10:30-5:30 schedule.
Sundays I let myself sleep in, which usually result in anywhere between 8-10 hours.
Yup. Pinkie Pie's (most likely) dour/depressing/Mennonite sister.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectYeah, my sleep schedule is pretty annoying too. Mainly because unless I'm exhausted it takes me almost an hour to doze off.
This is hilarious because some of my extended family are Mennonites.

Reaction Image RepositoryDriving up to the library once a week, 6 people in a van in all their bonnets and conservative skirts n' shit, taking out like 20 books at once.
Who knows what they get up to with them books, man.
I know that feel. I get like that if I'm not working on anything during the day. Having something to focus on and mull over relaxes my brain and makes it easier to keep the thoughts from going wild at night.

I think you're getting them confused with the Amish. Or maybe Hudderites. Or it's just an ultra-conservative branch or something.
They definitely are great bakers though. Mmmmm rohmkrupf.

Reaction Image RepositoryThe mennonites near where I grew up would always show up in town once a week, basically only to take out ludicrous amounts of books from the library.
But I may have been thinking of Hutterites? All three groups are fairly similar, and I'm fairly certain there were both Mennonites and Hutterites around my hometown. Big farming are with lots of open space in the country, Manitoba is.
Dunno how they can stand the smell of Canola growing all summer, though..
