A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

I don't know WHAT the Hell happened (I blame shenanigans) but we're going to start from scratch. Post your feels for this awesome show again! Naow!

As cool as the cheetahmen theme is, I don't think I can stand four and a half minutes of it.

And now you know just how bad the rest of that game is.

It's... mortal combat with a melody on top of it?

It's actually getting more complex as it goes on, to its credit. It's surprisingly catchy.

So it's like the development of ET except trying to make 52 games in the same amount of time?

That chip tune is catchy. On a scale of 1 - 52, how bad is that game?

...Is the Cheetaman image on that song straight from the game? That might be the shittiest piece of official art I've ever seen.

I mean, look at this thing.

if the team had focused on Cheetahmen and tried to make it playable, it might have gotten somewhere as a cartoon, maybe.

"52 Games in one"

That spells terrible, teeeerrible things.

That said, the Cheetamen seemed kinda cool... they could have been an early Biker Mice From Mars. Or I guess more accurately, another TMNT, but I grew up in the age when the TMNT impersonators were big, but not TMNT itself.

Yeah, they had one idea that had some potential... so they decided to go and make 51 other things.

That Cheetahmen theme sounds eerily familiar. I could have sworn that I've heard a VG theme that's nearly the same as that somewhere.

My only knowledge of this thing comes from the AVGN video of it. It looks like someone took a bunch of final projects from an entry level game design class and stuffed them onto a cartridge.

I think we have a challenge on our hands. Who can last the longest listening to this crap?

"52 Games in one"

That spells terrible, teeeerrible things.

That kind of reminds me of the games for the old Atari 2600, where the packaging for a game would make boasts like "27 Video Games". You quickly learned that they were all the same game with slight variations.

I had a plug-in game like that. There were SUPPOSE to be 78,000 games, until I learned there were only 78 to 80 games repeated!

Yeah, I learned about that sort of thing in school... though we were taught about the originals on like, the Commadore 64, where you had to actually past a filter over the screen in order to get the right visual representation of the game.

Guys, someone started a new game on my Ride To Hell file so I had to start all over. I'm only done 15 percent of the game in 4 hours. The controls aren't bad. Other than the treatment of women, and some ugly designs, I don't know why this is one is one of the worst games ever. In fact, Ride To Hell has worse reviews than Sonic 06.
