A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

All of the usual forum rules apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

I don't know WHAT the Hell happened (I blame shenanigans) but we're going to start from scratch. Post your feels for this awesome show again! Naow!

You're excited about StH 2006? I always heard the game was rubbish. Of course, I can't really give my personal opinion on it, having never played it. I'm a little surprised if I'm honest because I think you're the first person I met who's expressed anything resembling a positive opinion towards it.

@Thiri: Well, Marcen is kinda on a quest to play all the bad games and see if they're as bad as they are. (I think at least.)

Hmmm... anyone got any pony-based questions?

I always heard the game was rubbish.

That's the point. Marcen's going through a maschoicstic streak.

Hey Marcen, two things.

1: Did you finish Ride To Hell?

2: I dare you to play Action 52.wink

@Crimson: Twi'd definitely have a fuel-efficient car, while Discord I could see in a jalopy. Not too sure on the others, though Dashie I can see in a sports car, and AJ in a pickup truck. Pinkie... clown car! No contest! Celestia'd be driving a solar-powered car, though for Rarity, Fluttershy, and Luna, I have no clue.

Celestia: Lancia Stratos

Luna: Tesla Model X

Discord would drive a Reliant Robin.

Luna would have a horse-drawn carriage. Yes, even if cars existed in Equestria. She's just that old-fashioned.

But would she have a horse-drawn horse-drawn carriage?

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

Starlight Shadow

Insipid

Greyscale Force

Havocwing

Curacao

Red Velvet

They are glorious!

@Marcen: Action52 is less a game and more a failed programming exercise.

I haven't heard of Action52. How does it compare to Big Rigs?

Big Rigs is, while horrible, playable. A lot of the Action52 games are not.

[up]This, pretty much. Heck, it almost makes ET look like a competent game. Almost.

On the plus side, there is an internet project to remake Action 52, and the remakes of the games {Which you can find videos of on youtube} look really cool.

I guess you could say that it's like the Movie 43 of Video Games, in a way.tongue Except that the issues weren't entirely the fault of the developers: They had only 2 weeks to make 52 games, and all but one of them were inexperienced.

When you think about it, having 4 college programmers making all that in just 3 months with only 2 weeks of training, it's downright inspiring. Plus, the Cheetahmen theme was somehow catchy and good. And the commercial was kind of decent.

If it had been any other time and had more work put into it, Cheetahmen at least might have gotten off the ground.
