A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

All of the usual forum rules apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

I don't know WHAT the Hell happened (I blame shenanigans) but we're going to start from scratch. Post your feels for this awesome show again! Naow!

In other news, I just watched "I Remember You." Damn.
That is my favorite AT episode, bar none.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

@Kyler: I can see why. It's really good. I'm not sure if it's unseated "Burning Low" or "Marceline's Closet" as my favorite though.

Anyway, I just watched the three-parter. It's pretty good, although it's a bit weird in that the canon characters don't really figure in it much in the second two parts. Too much Farmworld stuff.

Is it downloadable content or...

Yes, I put them both on Mediafire. Let me find the links.

[up] I don't have any recording devices so...I don't know. Anyway, I gotta go to bed. I'll look at the games at a later time.

Pickory is an IWBTG inspired game I made a couple years ago. It's awesome, you should totally try it.

Well, this would be a first, a game after which I get to personally yell at the developer tongue

There are a lot of those. I know Daniel Remar used to post in the Iji thread.

Also, you'll be yelling a lot, hopefully. Be sure to tell me how far you get.

Well in my opinion it is easier than IWBTG. It has a much bigger focus on puzzles and less on precise jumping, though it still has its fair share of that. Of course the IBWTG experts all whine that it's much harder because Pickory uses different jump physics.

I'm not an IWBTG expert, so I didn't even notice the jump physics difference.

Okay. Home early. The shift lead at work (manager clocked out at 5) decided that I can leave at 10 if I skip my 30 minute lunch break to finish the new battery display.

Apparently he only did that because he and the cashier that was working tonight are used to leaving at 10:15, not 10:30 (as per the schedule). And then yelled for me to hurry up when I decided to pick up a treat before I left.

I'm not sure whether to be happy or annoyed.

Good. I like it better this way anyway, though I am planning to eventually create a version with IWBTG jumps enabled. Of course I've been meaning to do that since last fall and still haven't ever gotten around to it.

lol change the protagonist to The Kid in that version. With the "wuss" ribbon mandatory on all difficulties. Just to be a troll.

Funny you should say that. The Kid is actualy the final boss.

P.S. Which path are you trying? Have you found the Portal area yet?

Left path, fell into Portal area exactly. On the third screen of it at the moment.

Well, still stuck at the third screen, no idea what to do, and have other things to attend to. Still, better than I expected, the controls are as good as keyboard platforming is ever going to get.

Thanks to some of those old late-80s-early-90s PC gaming magazines like Retro Gamer (Old!), I associate pharmacists with Freddy Pharkas, Frontier Pharmacist (does he have a Work page?)
