A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Star: Most of my teacher in college were like that, heh. I studied Game Design, and all of the teachers had worked in the industry ion one way or another. Mostly designers, of course, but like, I had one teacher who wrote modules for Dn D, and currently writes Forgotten Reals novels. Stuff like that.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.@Star We gonna do it! Lava! Lava! Lava! Lava! Hopefully it's the same lava like the one Anakin fell in.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615q@Lava whereabouts: Deep in the earth's where you'll find all the magma ya ever need... be right back! -darts off in a hurry, presumably to get a larger sample of magma-
(Sometimes, I think I play too much Dwarf Fortress.)
@Star Now, we gotta wait for NES to bring in the lava. If not...we'll just throw him in the fireplace. And we do this in time for the Star Wars movies...directed by JJ Abrams. WARNING: CONSTANT LENS FLARES WILL OCCUR! I being totally serious about that.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615q@Star Agreed. I mean, the movies already tied everything up. Do we really need 3 more? Do they really need 3 more movies? (looks at Jar Jar's decomposing body) Uhhhh, if it's to forget about Anakin and Jar Jar...
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615q@Marcen I think it's both actually. But I dunno I think I'm more fine that Star Wars gets more video games than movies. Why? Because the games at least run in their own continuity but 3 more movies it's not worth it to be honest.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime@Star I've only played Battlefront 1 and 2 and they were pretty dang good. But for some reason, anytime I play the 2nd one, I listen to RHCP's Californication. It doesn't fit with the action but I've had so many good memories of playing the game and listening to that album.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615q@Star (sighs) Yeah....too bad the company went bankrupt, according to a friend of mine.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615q@Star I think it was because their last few games weren't up to par.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qYou probably wouldn't hate Jar Jar so much if you'd read Darths And Droids.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Story Star and I are talking about Jar Jar in the movies. He's alright in D&D.

@Star A friend of mine told me this before I saw the quote on Rescued from the Scrappy Heap.
