A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

Yewh LOVED paper Mario, can't wait for this game.

Now, then. I need a new bike. Or. maybe something that runs under it's own power. My bike broke on the way home. In the rain.

Bikes are surprisingly expensive. Do you think you can get it fixed?

See, that's kind of the issue, they aren't.

We just by cheap ass Wal-Mart ones. So not really that expensive. Would cost almost as much just to get the new part we would need. Need to replace the whole back tire, gears and all.

But really considering just getting a moped.

Oh. Last summer went I went to a bike shop, I was shocked to see that they all cost $1500+. But I guess those were fancier bikes.

Yeah, good bikes are expensive. Totally worth it though, if you can afford it.

Okay. So, work was... mixed. I had a customer without his ID trying to buy cigarettes, and we're supposed to ID check anyone who might be under age 40. Which he was. I had to say no. It was... uncomfortable. He was clearly upset. So was I, by the end of it. Later, I saw an elderly man who looked like he took a trip to the uncanny valley, tripped and broke his face. It was... scary to see him. I was scared for him. I hope he's gonna be okay. We also had a very smart shopper in the afternoon. She got 1 cart full of groceries and broke it into 5 purchases. The first purchase? She bought three items. She got five coupons from the coupon machine thing (it automatically prints them when customers ring up certain items). The next three purchases, three items and three coupons each. Then for the final part of her purchase, she used as many coupons as she could, and got 28 dollars in discounts. This lady should write a book on personal finance or something. And at the end of the day I embarrassed myself rather badly. It was the end of my shift, I called for customer service at the front register to see if someone could take over for me. Since four other people were working the main part of the store. Instead, my manager called the front desk and asked what I needed. And I couldn't shut up or lie to her so I said the truth. I... don't look forward to our next conversation.

And now for part 2! I'm upset at my sister. Again. Here is a progression of events over the last two days.

Yesterday, mom told her to clean her room.

Then, mom agreed to let her do it in the morning (this morning). Then after school. Then after she and dad went out to dinner.

When mom got home from dinner, she explained that she couldn't clean her room because it was "too dark" since the light in her room had gone out. Even though it was a perfectly sunny day. And it was only five PM.

Mom punished her, and she has come to the conclusion that mom is a bitch. She is also under the impression that sweaters and scarves don't count as clothing, and thus don't need to be picked up when mom told her again to pick up her clothes and the rest of her room.

If I'm going to spend more then like 100, it's going to be for something that moves under it's own power.

Turns out TPP Crystal can have some amusing moments after all. After spending over two hours unsucessfully trying to get past the ledge in front of Ice Cave, they finally managed to make it to the door only to accidently jump down again. Then they immediately flew back to New Bark Town for good measure.

I find it amazing that the player is able to get anything done at times, whether its evolving Pokémon or simply going to the pokemon center.

Not really, can usually find a moped or scooter fairly cheap around here.

Also, great to hear.
