A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

So Light Phaser, Demon Shark Kisame and I made a page for a fictional sitcom based on our lives. It's called Buddies.

Well the blood fish have gone flash-clattering again, the moon tacos are busy with the zombie pickles, and your cousin just stole a UFO. But other than that, it's fairly bazoobs up in the boom boom.

Hey guys. Having lunch at work.

Having an irritating moment. At work we have "suggested sells", trying to sell certain items to customers. The goal is 20 to 30 per day. So far I've had... Two? I don't know.

But I helped a customer who was buying fucktons of candy, including a box full of one of our suggested sell items. I helped her find it and figured I'd wait for her to come up to my register before going to lunch.

She paid for them at the photo department or possibly cosmetics.

FFFFFFFFF

Do you live together or anything?

Got A Link To The Past off the Wii U Virtual Console recently, so I've been playing that a bit lately. This game has some of the most infuriating boss fights I've ever seen in a Zelda game.

The third boss is this giant worm thing that moves completely randomly, and knocks you about half the length of the platform you're fighting on if you so much as graze him. And the fight takes place on a floating platform with a giant hole in the middle, so if you fall off or you fall down the hole, you wind up on the floor below and have to start the whole fight over again.

I thought that was bad, but just now I fought the seventh boss. It's a giant moth, but you fight it in a small room. The floor moves in random directions. Oh, and the entire room is lined with blade traps that go flying across the room whenever you get in their line of fire. It felt like I was playing Kaizo Legend of Zelda or something.

LTTP is my absolute favourite Zelda game. Ever. Ever ever.

I'm just thankful I was playing it on the VC. I lost count of how many times I had to reload a save state in order to kill that thing. It also doesn't help that Link can only seem to stab two feet in front of him while most enemies in the Dark World seem to do a full two hearts of damage every time they touch me.

I haven't actually played any of them for a nontrivial amount of time, but Wind Waker is my favorite due to the graphics.

Wind Waker's my least favourite, actually. It's not a bad game, I just don't like it very much :/

Reminds me of Ecco The Dolphin. I do not understand how people ever managed to progress in that game before the days of emulators.

Why? Too much sailing?

Same. It's good, just, not as good a other Zelda's. Mostly, it was just how fucking LONG it took to sail anywhere.

[up]yup. If they had shrunk the overworld map by half, it would have been so much better.

[up] No it wouldn't. A big world should feel big, and very few games actually accomplish that, this one included.

Twilight Princess is my personal favourite. I think due to it being the first one I actually beat.

Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.

But it was so BORING. Big is one thing, but big and empty is another. Plus, they needed to add better warp points to get around faster. I HATE pointless Time Sink's

Waker was pretty good, despite some sailing filler.

And Echo was hell on the Genesis. I remember it took me 5 months when I was 8 to beat it.

Yeah really liked the stuff on the islands for the most part. Hmmmm

Ocarina>LTTP>Skyward Sword>Majoras Mask>Twilight Princess>Oracles>Links Awakening>Windwaker>Original>Zelda II

Of the ones I can think of.
