A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Post of the Day #670
It's good for fanfiction. Just because it's as long as a song of fire and ice doesn't mean it's as good. I mean, I'm right there with you. I've read one of the side stories, and it just wasn't that great.
Wow.
The only FOE post I've ever made.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Have fun. Just a warning: whether you decide to help EZIC or not, be sure to do it perfectly. On the non-EZIC path, accidently letting even one agent through is enough to ruin the ending.
Oh, sorry to hear that. Did you at least see Jorji Costava? That guy is hilarious.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayOne Way Heroics has been really compelling lately. TWO Demon Lord victories as a Swordmaster now, working on a Knight victory (need to carry more backup shields lol).
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! What I mean is, I like my choice-based games to let me take time, access the situation, and do stuff accordingly. But Papers Please is timed. And because my attention span does not go well with timed missions, especially for such an attention-demanding game(blame the sleep deprivation), I don't think I'll get anywhere in this one.
OWH doesn't advance if you don't take any actions, one of the classic hallmarks of turn-based Roguelikes.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Actually, the story events are all unavoidable. The game keeps going until you see all the scripted events, even if you have already run out of time for the day.
Also, the game becomes a lot easier once you realize a few simple tips. For example, you only have to pay for heat and food every other day. Also, you can process more people by being a dick as much as possible. Until day 18, you don't have to give a reason for denial, which means that you don't have to interrogate discrepencies at all. You can just deny them as soon as you notice a mistake. (The only exception is a missing passport, which you have to interrogate for obvious reasons).
Likewise, you don't have to do the time consuming search when there's an incorrect gender or weight and you don't have to fingerprint them when the name doesn't match. You can if you want to try to detain them, but you can save a lot of time by just denying them immediately.
Though you do want to watch out, since you'll probably want to let through some of the people with incorrect papers for story reasons.
Also, there's no benefit to upgrading apartment except a Steam achievement. Don't bother.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayHey NES! I'm just looking at the tropes page for Community while listening to Francis The Mute by Mars Volta.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qI'm really curious who Twilight's going to get her key from. Being the princess, it might be a recurring character instead of someone new. Maybe Discord. That would be interesting. (It's the scepter).
Reaction Image RepositoryI doubt Discord is going to show up again, except possibly in the season finale.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayA mirrored scroll? Those things can be bought real cheap from the Mysterious Artifacts Emporium (Getting one without the Made In China/Taiwan/Hong Kong branding costs more though).
