The most interesting question I haven't heard asked is how did that portal get there? And why would it open to a dimension where they seem to thrive in? I headcanon that Clover the Clever using spells from star Swirl created a pocket dimension for them to live safely in after seeing their population plummet in the windigo freeze.

Are we even sure that it's a portal? It might just be that there's some sort of magical shield around the Breezies' home that's "programmed" to open and close at set times.

Well that's the million bit question isn't it?we're given only a few lines of dialogue as to why the Breezies need to go there. For instance they imply that if they don't go now, they'll be stuck forever, but then how would they know where to find it if it only happens once? And why are they in Equestria anyway, are breezies born in Equestria and must migrate to their dimension?

They said it's a portal. And my question ends up being why do they leave thier homes at all. Do the magical plants of Equestria need magical pollen?

So when Fluttershy said she couldn't send the Breezies out into the cruel world, and Twilight said they were only going home, did anyone else immediately picture their homeworld as a treacherous hellscape?

Maybe portals are a naturally occuring feature like in His Dark Materials.

I'm guessing the migration is something that occurs on a natural cycle. Like the portal opens every year for them to gather pollen and then closes.

@Wryte: Is that so? Huh... If only there was a portal to Dwarf Fortress...

(Well, back to elsewhere with me. I'm going to start presuming one day'll be safe enough time to return.)

So, in this episode we got Wee Free Breezies and more plot from Fluttershy, along with the most blatant Double Entendre I've seen in a long time.

That's what I assume, but the urgency and wording imply it's a once only deal.

If it's a one time thing, how would they know about it? The migration is obviously something that's happened before if Fluttershy knows how its supposed to work. Someone must have studied them.

I think it makes more sense to assume that it's cyclical, but that there's a long gap in between.

I need to make a quick judgement call. Go see the new Miyazaki movie, or get a burger from Five Guys.

The Doctor Whooves reference, holy shit that was EPIC!!!

Oh and the rest was great too. And, they actually went with a "Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind" moral. That, that was just amazing. Plus more Flitter YAY!

Go see the new Miyazaki movie, or get a burger from Five Guys.

Why do either? Wait, maybe you should get a game.

Incidently, I just got my first ever good end in Papers Please. Apparently there is different music and it shows the credits when you get a good end.

i read a Derpibooru comment that noticed that Fluttershy has quite the list of alter egos: Fluttershy, Flutterguy, Flutterage, Discorded!Fluttershy, New Fluttershy, Flutterhulk, Flutterbat, and this episode gave us Flutterbee and Flutterbreezy.

So, Fluttershy's key is a flower. But flowers die. A shrunken, withered, dried-out stem isn't good for anything.

They can be preserved fairly well. It'll just be a pressed flower.
