A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

So what games have people played? I've got like a dozen games on Steam I haven't played yet. Strike Suit Zero? Fez? Mark of the Ninja? Rocketbirds? Dust?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayLately I've been playing Double Dragon Neon (this game plays 80s cliches so hard that it's hilarious), Fire Emblem: Awakening and XCOM: Enemy Within. I also always seem to go back to Left 4 Dead 2 and Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition gets the odd session whenever my buddy's available. Had a bit of a hankering to play some old Blizzard games again too, like Warcraft 3 (which I immediately dropped again because it was being generally uncooperate when I tried to stream it) and Diablo 2 (installed it and then just haven't gotten back to it <.<).

I'm replaying Bravely Default and working on a randomlocke for Pokemon Black 2. Which will probably fail soon since I'm down to one Pokemon left and have to fight a gym leader next. After that I'm gonna be working on my Pokemon Y team.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayQuick, I need an infusion of cute before I set my roommate on fire.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I've played Papers Please (on the recommendation of Extra Credits), but I hated it. It's just the wrong kind of game for me. Too much time pressure, too easy to miss a detail that leads to penalties, too hard to make enough money to keep everyone fed and warm and healthy, etc.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Ah... better. A bit, at least. Thank you, NES.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.@Ike: Loooong story. Kind of a lot of small things leading up... just seems like every time I talk to him he becomes a worse and worse person, and the gaps between arguments are getting smaller. The most recent was borderline rape apology... though I'll admit the borderline is pretty important to keep in mind there.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. You can't, but I appreciate the thought anyway.
we'll be parting ways later this year... summer or fall, depending. I just have to put up with him and avoid contentious subjects until then. Aside from any subject involving women, he's generally an okay guy. Generally.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Sooner rather than later, hopefully. Here's hoping you can avoid fighting until then.
Reaction Image RepositoryIt's a lot easier once you realize that you can get away with only paying for food and heat every other day. Also, try to get bribes wherever possible.
^I really hope my new roomate won't be that bad. Assuming I manage to get a roomate this summer.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayYeah. The gist of the situation is that if I move into a new place, then I part ways in July. If I stay in the current place I CAN say he'll need to move out by July(In montreal almost all moving happens in July, and I'll need two roommates to replace him and the guy he's moving out with), but since his new condo won't be ready until November I can also decide to let the two stay until then. The realtor would help them find a new place in the meantime if I had them move out in July, but as much as the guy pisses me off I understand how annoying moving is, so doing it twice in rapid succession would kinda suck, and I am a merciful god.
And if I get a new job, it might be a moot point anyway. I rarely see him at home, most of the arguments come up because we work in the same place and his job doesn't require his attention much of the time, so he spend a lot of time reading... all the wrong things, really. Men's Rights forums, that sort of thing. Unpleasant conversations will be easier to dodge at home.
Honestly, six out of the eight roommates I've had have been really cool guys, and one of them was pretty much my best friend in Vancouver. Bad ones are possible, but for the most part they're less common in my experience.

Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes....I guess I should be happy that the worst roommate I had to put up with didn't do anything worse than stay up until four in the morning watching movies.
Reaction Image RepositoryI haven't had any bad college roomates, but when you're actually paying rent together, it's a much bigger deal.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI've never had roommates the the college sense, but the last guy I rented from rented me the basement and his girlfriend had a tendency to blame me for any kind of hardware failure. Because it totally didn't have anything to do with the bathroom being an amateur do-it-yourself job done by the previous owner, who thought it was appropriate to attach baseboards with double-sided tape.
