A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Well, she does seem to have a slight bit of an egotrip. Gets that from RD, I'm guessing.
It's ambiguous whether Pinkie works there or not. Wouldn't surprise me either way.
Reaction Image RepositoryI just figured that tray was for carrying stuff to your table. Not everypony can levitate stuff. Although it would be funny if it just turned out that Pinkie has a job at every place in town.
If I don't smile in pictures I look sad.
Man, you and me both Scootaloo.
I didn't didn't like it. It's just not particularly outstanding either.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI'm kinda torn on this episode. I mean, I like how it ended up treating the issue, in that it was more the CMC just getting in over their heads than them blatantly doing something wrong, but at the same time, I feel like it didn't explore their relationship with Twilight nearly as deeply as it could have.
Reaction Image RepositoryYeah, I'd have liked to see more of that. Honestly, I think Twilight should be struggling a little bit more with trying to be a Reasonable Authority Figure. Like, she is doing her best because she's a princess now and feels like she needs to be like Celestia, but still hasn't gotten a handle on surprising situations.
@Crow: IT's true. You should see Luna pack it away.
She was around in a time before Manners were invented, after all. Which may actually be true, come to think of it
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I can see it now. Luna meets Pony(!) Miss Manners and it's mutual Hate at First Sight.
I liked it well enough even if DT and SS should've had their true colors revealed a little earlier.
Definitely stronger than the last CMC episode where it had issues in the middle.
It was a great Sweetie Belle ran episode for once, not sure there's ever been a CMC episode with her as the lead.
Though it's not as strong as the other entries this season by Polsky (Those being "Rarity Takes Manhattan" and "Daring Don't") since it doesn't have nearly as many good gags and the progression isn't quite as good and I'll admit I liked last weeks slightly better.
Though both were better than that disastrous Love Triangle episode two weeks ago

Whelp, that was an episode. Not quite as boring as I thought it would be, though the only thing that really stuck with me was noticing just how much Sweetie Bell's voice has changed. Man, her actress must be really growing. I wonder if she isn't getting all sorts of crap in school for doing something like this for a job. Kids at that age tend to be cruel.
Oh, right, and Twilight eating like a pig was also funny. Turns out that people that are used to eating alone tend to not have the best table manners. And Spike's "Come on!" is also one for the ages.
All in all, quite all right. A couple of memorable moments, even if the end result was a little on the weak side.
Okay, leaving the con so I can make it to my interview.
That was fun! I have a headache, I'm hungry, there were a lot of people and booths and stuff to buy. I didn't make it to the maid cafe because I felt that would be incredibly awkward. But I had fun, and I got 2 pony buttons. And a custom order homestuck plushie.
