A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@ Star: Pretty sure you're LD's favorite.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!I don't think a lot of people in here tend to like me or, rather, pay attention to me. At least, that's how it appears. For all I know, my posts might just provoke intense thoughts among the regulars of this thread and I'm secretly regarded as the greatest not-quite-pony philosopher this side of TV Tropes.
Or something like that.
Otherwise, you're right there. If I posted more in here, I probably would get noticed and replied and all that stuff, but that ain't gonna happen now. I have other commitments in real life to keep up with, so yep.
@Those who give a damn: Ask boxes are open for both my SFW blog
and NSFW blog.
I really need to just walk away from a (non-TV Tropes) political forum, and never look back. There are some decent people there, but their voices are mostly drowned out by the absolute dregs of society. A resident potty-mouthed redneck biker stereotype I only wish was a clever parody? Check. Blatant racists, homophobes and anti-Semites? Check, check and check. Pictures and avatars representing the above that would get anyone here banned in a nano-second? Blecch. And check.
Why the buck do I keep going back there? Morbid fascination? All I know is that I come away from there feeling like I need a shower.
I'm pretty sure I'm just remembered as that guy who doesn't like anything and/or the guy who makes a cranky sockpuppet redundant. If I am remembered that is.

The extremist will always make up for their lack of numbers with loudness. It's a sad fact in any political situation.
Who da what now?

@Syd: A lingering hope you might be able to show those people that they're wrong and change a human life for the better?
That's my theory, considering that's the thing that motivates me to continuously get into arguments with my roommate about similar topics when I should have just learned to shut the hell up and wait for him to move by now.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.

@Starscream: that's what i was thinking.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
