A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.

All of the usual forum rules apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

I don't know WHAT the Hell happened (I blame shenanigans) but we're going to start from scratch. Post your feels for this awesome show again! Naow!

Little voice actor trivia regarding Tabitha ST Germain: FIM is not the first time she voiced a character that had some involvement with Milli Vanilli {Even if this time it was just a Shout-Out rather then the actual band}. In the crappy Super Mario Bros 3 cartoon, she voiced Wendy Koopa {AKA "Kootie Pie Koopa"}, who in one episode was revealed to be a huge fan of Milli Vanilli, so she kidnapped the two lead singers and forced them to sing for her. But there's a scene where they tell Kootie Pie they can't sing without the rest of the band. Their subsequent attempt to wing it (with Mario & crew) sends everyone running away screaming. The real kicker? This was BEFORE everyone found out that Milli Vanilli weren't doing the actual singing in RL.[lol]

@Marston Oh god I've seen that episode and it's the one where the Mario bros along with Toad and Princess Peach (I refuse to call her Toadstool) dressed up like Milli Vanilli. God man god.

@Lumious I can understand why they had to put him in the game because of the fact he's the main character in his movie so I guess that make sense. But ya can't everything I suppose.

@Star It's not that big of an issue for me. I played that game for a while, but multiplayer irritated me. Some other douche always picks Knuckles first. And I can't play without that sexy tri-cycle.

I know zot about Sugar Rush.

You should correct that. Wreck It Ralph had its flaws, but I think it was a good movie overall.

1998 is a year that can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned. In a five-week period, I lost an aunt to cancer, and my dog had a stroke that left him paralyzed from the neck-down. Had to put him to sleep.

So yeah. Buck you, 1998.

Don't even, that stupid Joy Electric song is stuck in my head.

@Ike. It's the name of a game within the movie and accompanying jpop theme song.

This year and 1999 are the only years of that I can still vividly remember from the '90s. It's a bit of a shame they're the very last years, but oh well!

Sugar Rush was a song, the name of a game world in the movie, and the name use for the movie in Japan.

I have a message from another time...

Good news- Home Depot is hiring!

Bad news- they have 80-question questionnaires you have to fill out for every single position.

I generally don't think about my childhood because it's very traumatic, so it tends to be a mess of vague memories I try not to think about.
