A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Wryte: I'd like to, but I'm stupidly busy and I don't want to promise anything if I'm not able to actually look at it. Although this reminds me that I really need to get back to writing some of my own original stuff. Although I'll probably wait to finish up my enormous fanfic project first.
Reaction Image RepositoryIt's part of the song.
New post. NOTE: Before you say anything, just look at it from a style ans detail POV.
For all you Neigh-sayers, GOOD NEWS(unless you've never seen my blog.)

http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/My increasingly late viewing of the latest episode continues tonight. We pick up with Rarity in inconsolable anguish, which is also known as Tuesday afternoon.
Actually, we begin with the video I was watching having been taken down since then. Well.
And after that false start, we begin with Rarity dropping the mother of all irony bombs on Spike. It's like a fly in your soup, when you're a frog in a restaurant for frogs.
Trend kicks things off with a mildly racist pickup line. Bitches love racist pickup lines. Applejack cleverly tries to divert his affections to her grandmother.
Well, I think it's safe to say Rarity's not missing much. Guy's as smooth as a sandpaper jockstrap.
Derpy, unappreciated? NOT HERE.
And now poor Applejack thinks she's getting hit on by Rarity too.

Why edit your post? Wouldn't it be eaiser to just leave the new post screen up and type it all in one go?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayBECAUSE REASONS.
Rarity's flirting with Spike to get him to help her hook up with someone else. Wow.
Applejack knows what's up. Get rid of unwanted suitors by crawling into a chicken coop and covering yourself in bird shit. BRILLIANT.
OH GOD. RARITY'S MAKING A WHITE TRASH LINE.
Holy shit, he actually ended up going after Granny Smith. I swear that was just a joke! D:

I think the easiest way to solve the problem would have been to get Trenderhoof to actually try farming and discover that he hates it.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@storyyeller: That would be kind of an opposite lesson from the one in Read It And Weep where Rainbow Dash at first thought she hated reading but then she liked it when she found some books she likes. In this version, Trenderhoof would claim to like farming but then ends up hating it when he tries it. In both cases, the lesson would be to not judge an activity until you've tried it yourself.

But it's pretty clear that he wouldn't actually like it. He's only in love with his romanicized idealized conception of farming life.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayThat's pretty nice. The shape of the head/neck is still a bit odd, but the colors look really good.
And now I have to get to bed.

...wut.
No, seriously, what was the train of thought that got your from that point A to that point B?
